Title: Learn from the Lord (Matthew 11:27)

[Matthew 11:27]

[27] All things have been given to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and he who receives a revelation as the Son wishes.

When I was a college student, I heard my voice on the phone and the president of the Church Women's Evangelism Society mistook it for my father's voice and made a mistake. It's not because I want to be like him, but because my father becomes my father, so I become like him. We become the sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. Because God is our Father. God is our spiritual Father. Verse 27 is the word Jesus gave to his disciples when they were confused.

The disciples knew that Jesus was the Son of God.

God knows us all too well as His children. God knows me very well. God rejoices through me and enjoys being with me. Also, the son knows his father well. The disciples wanted to know such a father.

Jesus came to this earth and suffered many misunderstandings. But there was knowledge that paid attention to Him and made Him go to the cross. Before we knew God, God knew us first. Only by accepting this fact can we become children of God. Even if no one knows me, even if my parents, my spouse, and my children don't know me, please believe that Heavenly Father knows us. They may make us sad. It will be sad when you don't know me well. But God is the one who rescues us from this fear and loneliness.

I can't get to know you all in three days. You meet a few people and you go. Living in the 21st century today, we have too much casual and superficial knowledge. However, the children of God who lived before us thousands of years ago knew one thing. This can be seen through David's confession. If you look at Psalm 139:1-5, [You, O LORD, have searched me and knew me...] This was the power of David's life.

Again, many of my friends and people around me know who I am. It happened when I was in 4th grade. All the students brought their own lunches as the teacher told them to bring their own lunches. Some of my friends had bean sprouts on rice with rice, and some were packed lunches with delicious meat side dishes. But at the same time as I opened the lunch box, all my friends' eyes stopped on my lunch box. Because my lunch box was a ham sandwich. I was so ashamed. Because Korean children are people who have never seen a sandwich. The mother took care to pack good things in her first son's lunch box. When I was about to eat the sandwich, 120 eyes were watching. I couldn't eat. What I learned then was the realization that no matter how hard I tried to be like them, I couldn't be like them. Who am I? It was a very heartbreaking incident.

I went home and cried and vomited my broken heart. I thought that it was God's mistake that caused me to be born like this. My mother understood my heart. My mother hugged me. I also resented why my father sent me to a Korean school to make me sick so much. Why can't we live in America? Complaints Come to think of it, my mother was the only foreigner. Why does your mother live here? asked. Mother said it was because she loved Jesus. And he told me the love of Jesus. Jesus said that he did not carry the cross with ease. My mother said, “Joseph, Jesus loves you the way he did. He wants to love your pain and your suffering in His own way. I love you no matter what you do." At that time, I accepted Jesus as my Savior.

When there was pain in my heart, I thought that no one loved me. But Jesus loves me and He knows who I am. I have come to know that no matter what situation I am, what I think and what I do, you know and love me. Jesus didn't change anything for me. My nose and hair color. But what really changed was knowing that Jesus loved me and knew who I was. In Romans 5:8, when we were enemies, God showed His love by having Jesus Christ die on the cross to pay for our sins. I loved him until I knew him.

God knows Jesus. Father knows us. This is the basic belief idea, but in many cases it is mistaken. We think it is so important for us to know God. But Jesus is not trying to teach us that truth. Before we know God, God already knows us. Before you say the prayer topic, God already knows. This fact can change our lives. This is the gospel. Please believe that I can know and love God because He loved me first.

Do you know God?

Do you know Heavenly Father? To know is to love. The worldly knowledge we know is informational knowledge. You use that information, but you don't love that knowledge.

Jesus says I am the way and the truth. Truth is different from information. Jesus didn't tell you about the truth, he showed you who you are. Many people come to God. But you need to know who he is. When you pray, you should not be mistaken that you simply answered what you received. It is also important to worship and praise the God who makes the impossible possible. Prayer is not praying for answers to prayers, but talking with God is prayer.

God wants us to know Him that way.
