Title: Learn the Right Doctrine
content br>
“But the Holy Spirit plainly says that in the latter days some will turn from the faith and turn to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons; these are liars with hypocrisy, whose conscience has been scorched” (1 Timothy 4:1-2).
“Evil men and deceivers are getting worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But keep in the things you have learned and have been convinced of. You know from whom you have been taught, and since you were young you have known the Scriptures. The Scriptures are able to make you believe in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be perfected for every good work. ” (2 Timothy 3:13-17)
Jesus warned earlier that “many false prophets will arise and deceive many” (Matthew 24:11). In these words, a prophet refers to a person associated with the Bible and Christianity. The Apostle Paul also testified that “in the latter days some will turn from the faith, stating clearly of the Holy Spirit, and will turn to deceiving spirits and teachings (doctrine) of demons” (1 Tim. 4:1). Paul went on to say, “The wicked and the deceivers are getting worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13).
In this dangerous world, how can we not be deceived, keep our souls completely, and lead a true life of faith with the right faith that our Jesus, who saved our souls and made his children, wants us? It really can't be an important issue. The only way is to learn “right doctrine” and arm your soul with “right doctrine.”
“Doctrine” is “didaskalia” in the original New Testament text. “Didaskalia” is a word that can be translated as “teaching”, “precept”, “creation”, “principle”, “doctrine”. The Korean Bible is translated as “instruction” and “teaching”. The Authoritative Version of the English Bible (K.J.V) translated it as “Doctrine,” that is, “doctrine” and “teaching” (teaching).
“Doctrine” is “doctrine.” “Doctrine” feels cold in some ways. Because “doctrine” is “the principle of teaching” or “fundamental principle,” it does not tolerate anything other than the “fundamental principle” itself. Because even if 99% are the same, it is unacceptable. At the same time, a “doctrine” can be described as “the core content of a teaching” or “an irreconcilable teaching” of a fact.
There are countless “doctrines” in this world. This is because it would not be unreasonable to define “doctrine” as the teachings poured out by countless thinkers, writers, politicians, sociologists, psychologists, religious people, and even cultists. The reason why the iron man Socrates gathered his disciples and taught them was because of “doctrine instillation” from a spiritual point of view. The reason “Michael Jackson” came to Korea and sang his own song is because of “doctrine instillation” from a spiritual point of view. It is because of “doctrine infusion” from a spiritual point of view that the religious leaders of cults gather people together and teach them something. Indeed, countless doctrines are at work by countless people.
However, the Bible did not state all these many doctrines as the same doctrine. The Bible divided doctrines into two categories. They are “false doctrine” and “right doctrine”. The Bible speaks of “false doctrine” as “the doctrine of demons” (1 Tim. 4:1) and “another doctrine” (1 Tim. 6:3).
Of course, there are countless other false teachings and assertions, that is, false doctrines, but these kinds of teachings and assertions are incorrect false doctrines, “the doctrines of demons.” Therefore, incorrect doctrine, that is, “other doctrine” and “doctrine of demons” is different from “correct doctrine” (1 Tim. 1:10) based on the correct interpretation of the “word of truth of God”, that is, the words of 66 books of the Bible It refers to any teaching, claim, or doctrine that is similar or opposed.
On the other hand, the Bible says that there are “right doctrines” in doctrine. “Right doctrine” (1 Tim. 1:10) is “good doctrine” (1 Tim. 4:6) and “the doctrine of God” (Titus 2:10). Right doctrine is right teaching and right argument. This is “the doctrine of goodness” because it is good, and “the doctrine of God” because it is from God, that is, “the teaching of God.”
If the false doctrine is “the doctrine of the devil” or “the teaching of the devil,” the right doctrine is the “doctrine of God” and “the teaching of God.” Thus, the Bible is the foundation of sound doctrine. The text of 2 Timothy 3:17 proves this.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
In this verse, “a lesson” means “didascaria” or “doctrine”. That's right. The Bible is a treasure trove of “right doctrine.” The Bible provides “doctrine” on each of the core subjects of truth necessary for the human soul and the way of life. In fact, most of the writings in the Bible are “right doctrine” themselves, without the need for complicated interpretation or commentary on the written word itself.
For example, Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” gives us the “right doctrine” that “God exists” without any interpretation or commentary, and the second “ Heaven and earth did not evolve, but God created them, and God is the Creator.” Of course, there are many words where you can find the right doctrine through conscientious and academic interpretation. There is a really important element of right doctrine here. It is the “correct interpretation of the Bible”. We will revisit this issue a little later.
Good doctrine is really important.
Because, first, right doctrine is the foundation of right faith.
When doctrine is wrong, faith is wrong. When doctrine is perverted, so is faith. However, if the doctrine is correct, so is the faith.
Second, right doctrine is the foundation of a right soul.
Accepting a wrong doctrine makes the person's soul wrong. False doctrine is the doctrine of demons, so the person's soul will be deceived by the demon, and he thinks and speaks like a demon. But if you accept the right doctrine, your soul will be under the control of God. Because the right doctrine is the doctrine of God.
Third, right doctrine is the foundation of a right church.
Fourth, right doctrine is the foundation of a blessed family.
I have seen and heard a lot of devastating situations where families who have received false doctrines, other doctrines, that is, doctrines of demons are ruined. The people of that family are smart and sincere, and they learn “wrong doctrines” in a church that is not a single cult, cult, or non-evangelical mystic, mystic, fanatic, or emotionalistic, so that they can bring true joy and peace to the family. It is not only annihilation, but also handing over the whole soul of the family to the demon.
So you have to be careful with people. Especially when you hear or learn about the Bible, religion, or thought. True Christians, born again of the gospel, have a prudent spiritual mission of “right doctrine.”
Our spiritual mission to right doctrine is
First, we believe in the “Bible” as the Word of God.
We must firmly believe that the Bible is God's word, containing God's thoughts, God's will, and God's character, rather than writings such as books of thought, literature, and classics that contain human thoughts, will, and personality. All our spiritual good and beautiful things start from a firm belief that the Bible is the word of God. Belief in the Bible is the greatest respect for the Bible and is the proper courtesy.
We believe the Bible as the Word of God, but we must believe it as an absolute norm, not a relative norm. All books in this world are written by human beings. These are the writings of those who have already died, or those who will die in the future. But the Bible is immortal and incorruptible
