Title: The wise steward
Text: Luke 16:1-10
Key Verse: He who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and he who is unrighteous in a very little is also unrighteous in much. (Luke 16:10)
The text is the parable of the steward.
A steward is a person who takes charge of all the household affairs of a wealthy household and keeps, manages, and disposes of it according to the owner's command.
1. God is Lord. We are God's stewards.
The Lord who created this world and redeemed us is the Lord of this world and the rich God. Our chosen believers are stewards of the house of God.
If you do wrong stewardship, you will be kicked out. Being kicked out is likened to dying without living in the world. (The day will come for us to count, too.)
2. Reasons for being kicked out
I was kicked out because of the steward's ignorance for two reasons.
(One). Everything we have (possessing body, life power, technology background) belongs to the rich, and I forgot that we were keeping the rich, and mistakenly thought that it was mine because I managed it. (Forgot that we were keeping the rich)
(2). Everything about the steward belongs to the rich, so we have to manage it according to the rich man's will and use it according to the rich man's will. Everything that is not for the sake of the people is wasted. For the sake of friends, neighbors, family, self, etc.)
Therefore, we must remember that everything we have, body, and life is not mine, but the Lord's, purchased with the price of the Lord's blood, and should be used according to the Lord's will.
3. The kicked out steward realized three things
(One). I realized that everything the steward was enjoying was not mine, but the Lord's.
Realizing that everything I have belonged to the Lord, who was bought with a price by Jesus dying in the place of death, evil spirits and sin because of sin
(2). Realizing that the master will account for what the steward has done, and when driven out he will have to leave all this behind.
We never know when we will die. When you die, you have to leave behind all your wealth, health, status, authority, and skills.
Luke 16:3 “The steward said to himself, ‘My master has taken away my office, what shall I do?
(3) I realize that I have no strength to dig, and I feel shameful when I fucking do it.
① Digging the land? All preparations and efforts for oneself have time, so you have to do it while you are in the world. On the other side of death, you cannot sacrifice or suffer for the Lord.
② Damn, what is shameful? It teaches us that there is shame even in the infinite world (1 Corinthians 3:10-15)
4, the expelled steward used one wisdom
It was done in search of something to be received soon, something to be done soon.
He had the wisdom that the only thing to do is to call someone who shines for his master and forgave him of his debts.
Realizing that if I forgive the debt with the owner's, which I will leave to the person who shines, I will receive myself into my own home after I am driven out, so I worked hard to erase my sins and deliver them from my sins. It is the wisdom of the saints to realize that there is no other way than this way to save one's body, body strength, all functions, life, possessions, authority, position, or all for this salvation movement that saves mankind from sin while they are alive. The hostess praised the unrighteous steward for making things wise.
(16:9 Make friends by means of unrighteous riches, and when they perish, they will receive you into an eternal dwelling place.)
(conclusion)
The substantial life of a steward was to forgive debt. Debt refers to the debt of sin. 100 words of oil reduced 50% of psychic crimes (psychic crimes) by 50 words. For 100 grains of wheat, 20% of physical crimes (flesh crimes) were deducted 20% (50 of oil and 80 wheat remaining)
Therefore, make friends with unrighteous riches, and when they are destroyed, they will receive you in an eternal house. Therefore, let's invest everything for the salvation of mankind.
The day is coming when we too will be counted because we have wasted our master's things.
Let us forgive the debt of sin before we are cast out
Our possessions, our bodies, our lives, our health, our skills, and our powers are not ours.
Let's quickly make friends with unjust wealth. Let's save people. Let's be loyal before we're gone
