Lessons from the hail disaster
Exodus 9:13-35
Although the human heart is invisible, it has great power. They say it will happen as you think. It is said that what is repressed will surely come back. Jang Mi-ran, who set a new world record in weightlifting at the Beijing Olympics and won a gold medal around her neck, is said to have trained in image training. 'Imagination training'. Dr. Kwang Ye, a neuroscientist at Cleveland Hospital in the United States, conducted an experiment on young people and the elderly to see if only mental training could actually strengthen muscles. Each training session lasted 10 to 15 minutes, for a total of 50 repetitions, and I gave the command to mentally contract the muscles strongly for about 10 seconds. After four months of training, both the young and the elderly have gained about 15% of their muscles. The human mind is mysterious. The mind rules the body. Thoughts and actions of the mind do not end only in the mind. It evokes emotions and triggers a physiological action or response in the body. However, once this mind is attached to something, it cannot easily escape from it.
1. If we want to live a blessed life, our goal should always be fixed on revealing God's name, not our own.
But how did Pharaoh still feel? See verse 17. still sleeping Do not humble yourself before God. Despite the many disasters, he does not change and is proud. The final destination of pride is destruction (Proverbs 16:18). “Pride is the forerunner of destruction, and a haughty heart before a fall” (Proverbs 16:18).
We must not forget why God created us. You need to make it clear why you give me a good job, why you give me children, why you give me health, and why you extend my life. To make the name of God known through our lives and our words. It is to testify of the gospel through the events of our lives. Sometimes you can get sick. It may fail. You may suffer. Through such events, God wants His name to be revealed. We want to testify of God's name through the experience of being healed by praying and being healed by God's power. In other words, to reveal the glory of God. Our minds must have a clear goal. Whatever you do, don't lose sight of that goal. God says “Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). Is the glory of God at the center of your heart every day? Or is making my name at the center of my heart?
