Title: Let's Be Those Who Please God
Contents
- Message at the end of the first bible study
Now, 4 months of 'best life' training (Meeting 18) is over. Literally, to give the best life to the Lord, we visited the Gethsemane temple, rain or shine, and endured the painstakingly effortlessly. Rather, more humble than before, I must die and live a life in which only Christ is honored.
Perhaps from now on, we should live with the nickname “those who please the Lord.” Because of this, we have to worry, cry more, and suffer persecution.
This is because the best life is a life that is persecuted for the sake of righteousness, and it should be a life that only pleases God.
1. Let's check our faith process once again.
(1) The righteous (Romans 4:3,5,25, 5:18) - The righteous are those who believe in what God has recognized as righteous by faith.
will be Although we are still sinners, the Lord has made us the garments of
He puts on you and recognizes you as a righteous person.
(2) Sanctification (1 Thessalonians 5:23) - After we are justified, we need repeated efforts.
1) Meaning - the inability of sin, freedom from the power of sin, freedom from the bondage of the old man, the fundamental person
No anger, pride, unbelief.
2) Life - a life of hard work with the will to forsake sins
Life, a life of faith and supplication, with Christ, the model of holiness
life to do.
(3) Glorification (2 Corinthians 3:18, Philippians 3:21, 2 Corinthians 4:17, Romans 11:30, 1 Corinthians 10:31)
- When the day comes when we will abide with Christ forever
It will become a "glorious being" like Then from sin and all suffering
The glorious hope of complete freedom will come true.
* The righteous is the starting point, sanctification is the process, and the glorification is the result. Also, the righteous are the salvation of the past.
and sanctification can be expressed in terms of present salvation and glory as future salvation.
(4) “The best life” (18 weeks of course) is a summary of all these faith courses.
The assurance of salvation by knowing the gospel - Beginning fellowship with God (Bible, prayer) - God's guide
Spirit-filled life - Doubts and conflicts of faith - Stewardship and family life, the holy life
Do, praise life - Heaven training through church life, etc.
2. Our joy? God's joy?
(1) God is pleased through us. (Zep 3:17, 1 Samuel 12:22, Gen 1:31, Luke 12:32)
* What is the joy of Jesus? (Luke 10:17-21)
(2) What is the general joy of people? (Ecclesiastes 2:1-10), the joy of the wicked? (Proverbs 24:17)
(3) What should be the joy of Christians? (1 Chronicles 29:9, Matthew 13:44, Jer 15:16, 1 Pet 4:13)
(4) God especially likes perfect sacrifices. What is this sacrifice? (Hebrews 13:16; Proverbs 21:3;
Matthew 5:23-24)
3. What is the life of those who please God?
(1) That is, it is a life where we know that we are the source of blessings. (Genesis 12:2, Genesis 30:27, 39:5, Paul incident in Acts 27)
- "Because of Joseph" God blessed Potiphar's house. The four friends are paralyzed
It became the source (Mark 2:1-5), and the disciples became the source of blessings for Simon's mother-in-law. (Mark 1:29-31)
(2) It means that we “enjoy a victorious life.” (Refer to 2 Chronicles 20:1-30, 16-week lecture plan)
1) How did you react to the urgent situation of the Israeli people (1-3)? (3-4)
2) First I prayed to God (5-13), and the Lord answered me through the Word (14-17)
The words were to praise God, and to trust in the Lord and the prophets.
All. (19-20), Israel’s obedience (20) answered with God’s great love so that we could win
do. (24-30)
As you finish this study, even if your current situation is difficult, do not become discouraged and pray in anticipation of the Lord. Also, do not show off too much that you are filled with the Holy Spirit, and try to test whether you are in the faith every day (2 Corinthians 3-15). I hope you will lead a sober life.
"I prayed for it to come true, but now I pray for the strength to wait. Previously, I couldn't wait and tried to run, but now I pray and prepare for the time to come.
I used to want this pain and trial to go away, but now I learn patience through this test. I used to complain and fret, but I praise that now I can draw closer to the Lord through waiting." Amen!
