Title: Let's Become the Year of God's Righteousness
Contents
Let it be the year of the fulfillment of God's righteousness (Matthew 6:30-33)
The motto of this year's Suwon Ark Church is filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with the Word, filled with prayer, filled with evangelism. It is absolutely essential to accomplish the righteousness of God.
[Ephesians 5:18] Do not get drunk with wine, for this is debauchery, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.
[1 Corinthians 12:3] Therefore I make it known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
Paul's Holy Spirit
[Acts 13:9] And Saul, who was called Paul, was filled with the Holy Spirit and paid attention to him.
The disciples' filling of the Holy Spirit
[Acts 13:52] The disciples were full of joy and the Holy Spirit.
The filling of the Holy Spirit in the early church
[Acts 2:4] And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The filling of the Holy Spirit of Jesus
[Luke 4:1] Jesus returned from the Jordan River, filled with the Holy Spirit, and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days.
2. We must be full of the Word (Deacon Stephen, Luke the Apostle, Paul, David, etc.)
David's Words
[Psalm 119:105] Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
[Psalm 119:103] How sweet are your words to me, sweeter than honey to my mouth.
[Psalm 119:67] Before I was afflicted, I went astray; now I keep Your word
Solomon's Words
[Proverbs 13:13] He who despises the word is ruined, and he who fears the commandment is rewarded.
[Proverbs 16:20] He who pays heed to his word finds good; blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.
[Ecclesiastes 12:11] The words of a wise man are like a stinging whip, and the words of a teacher in the congregation are like nails, all given by one shepherd.
Joshua's Words
Joshua 1:7-9 - But be strong and very courageous, so that you may keep and do all the law that Moses my servant commanded you; do not turn to the left or to the right, so that you may prosper wherever you go. Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth, day and night. meditate on it, and be careful to do all that is written in it, and your way will be smooth, and you will prosper.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or be dismayed, for wherever you go, the Lord your God is with you.
Full of Jesus' Words
[Matthew 4:4] Jesus answered and said to them, It is written, Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
What is the Word of God, and should it be fulness?
[Heb 4:12] The word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
3. We must be filled with prayer (Jesus, Early Church members, Anna, Hannah)
jesus prayer
[Luke 22:44] Jesus prayed more earnestly and with all his might, his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.
Prayers of the Early Church Saints
[Acts 1:14] All the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and the brothers of Jesus devoted themselves to prayer.
[Acts 2:42] They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.
[Acts 4:31] When they had done their prayers, the place where they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God boldly
Hannah's prayer (husband Elkanah lived with two women, second wife Peninnah)
[1 Samuel 1:10] And Hannah was troubled, and she prayed to the Lord and wept.
[1 Samuel 1:13] Hannah spoke to herself, but only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard, so Eli thought that he was drunk.
evangelism of jesus
[Mark 1:38] He said to them, "Let's go to other nearby villages, and we will preach there too, for this is what I have come."
[Acts 5:42] Every day whether they were in the temple or in their house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that Jesus was the Christ.
Peter's Evangelism
Apostle Paul's Evangelism
[Acts 20:24] I do not regard my life as of any value in any way, in order to finish my course and the mission I received from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
How do we
2 Timothy 4:5] But be sober in all things, endure hardships, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your office
[Titus 1:3] In his own time he manifested his word through evangelism, which was entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior
What does Jesus mean in today's text? read together.
If God cloths the grass of the field that is today and that is thrown into the furnace tomorrow, how much more would it be you, you of little faith?
Therefore, do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat, what shall we drink, or what shall we wear, for these are all the Gentiles seek, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Seek ye first his kingdom and his righteousness, then all these things will be added to you
Are we not even worthy of a field before God? The Lord speaks clearly. If you seek the kingdom and him first, he will do whatever you want. To seek that righteousness; if you do this today, filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with the Word, filled with prayer, and filled with evangelism, Jesus Christ will give you great and great blessings forever. do you believe
Because that is seeking the Lord's righteousness.
