Title: Let's Challenge the Impossible!

Contents

Have you ever taken on a task that seemed impossible? There are times in life when you have to do difficult and difficult things. Sometimes it is an easy task, but due to a small mistake, it takes a lot of hard work and suffering to complete the task.

Let's think about what God gave to Noah. God said to Noah, "You shall build for yourself an ark of cypress wood, and you shall put up the livers in it, and paint the inside and the outside with bitumen. Genesis 6:14-15). Scholars estimate that a cubit at that time was between 45 cm and 53 cm. At 45 cm, the ark was 135 m long, 23 m wide and 14 m high. It was nearly the length of a football field and the height of a four-story building. The ark would have weighed less than 80,000 tons. God did not use a shipyard to build this great ship. You used a man named “Noah.” Given the circumstances at the time, it seemed impossible to Noah.

It took a lot of preparation for Noah to build the ark. He had to find a place to start the construction. We also had to collect materials for construction. If I had heavy machinery at the time, I would probably have saved it. How much would the construction cost? It would have required a lot of money to complete such a construction. But how did Noah finish the great work? How did he complete the ark? The project took 120 years, and he did it step by step, one process a day.

Just as God called Noah to build the ark, so God calls us to do something. God is calling each of us to build a house of eternal life. The work begins with salvation. If we respond to the call of salvation, God will teach us what to do. He's not telling you to build a big boat like Noah, but he'll instruct you to do something.

Perhaps God is calling others to pray and help them when they pray. Or you may be invited to sing in the choir. You may be called to visit the sick, as a Sunday School teacher, as a guide. There are many things to do in the body of Christ, the church. God is calling us to do something. Like building the ark, we may wonder if we can do what God has entrusted to us or whether we are qualified.

We can learn a lesson from Noah, who faced a difficult task. When he started building the ark, he didn't connect the planks in any way. He prepared first, first he built the skeleton. It would have been a decent structure that could bear the weight. Was it on his own initiative that Noah, who was not an architect, did it? no. The Bible says, “So Noah did, and did according to all that God commanded him” (Genesis 6:22). Noah followed God's plan.

Likewise, if we are to be effective servants of God, we must follow His plan. First, you need to create a suitable skeleton. When we repent of our sins and are born again, God wants us to be sanctified. When we experience sanctification, we become sanctified and have a pure desire to please God. God wants us to fill our sanctified hearts with the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the power of service. This is like building a spiritual skeleton.

If Noah had disregarded God's plan, his efforts would have been of no value. The ark would not have done its job if he hadn't left some girders or pine resin in several places. If he had not done a few things according to God's plan, the ark would not have been properly completed.

There are times when we try to do God's plan and we do not receive what we need even after asking for a long time. Then we need to see how our work is going. Are you really doing what God wants you to do? Or are we doing it our own way? If we have done it our way, we should be willing to forsake it and pray, “Lord, help me to build in your way, to follow your plan!”

The experience of meeting the invisible God and receiving grace from the invisible God seems like a difficult task.. Your prayers may feel ineffective. But God is not blind. God is not blind. He watches us closely and hears all our prayers clearly. God will look after us as faithfully as he did with Noah. You can get what you need from God. But to do that, you have to follow his instructions.

Sometimes we pray and dedicate ourselves in our own way, but sometimes the Lord asks for more. At that time, it may seem difficult to do the Lord's demands. But it may be testing you to see if you really do what God wants you to do. Therefore, do not stop, keep seeking the Lord, and continue to give yourself to God and submit to His will. God will exalt those who continue to pray earnestly, those who continue to trust in Him.
