Title: Let's Cross the Jordan
Contents
The life of faith is to cross the river.
God had them cross the Red Sea and the Jordan River to lead Israel, who had been slaves in Egypt for 430 years, to Canaan.
He crossed the Red Sea and crossed the Jordan River to lead them to Canaan.
But to cross the Jordan River, you must have faith.
So what is the Jordan River?
The Jordan River is the first obstacle that the Israelites must cross to enter the land of Canaan. How can I cross the Jordan River?
1. Be sincere.
[Joshua rose early] This speaks of honesty and integrity.
And [with the men of Israel departed from Siddim]
To depart from Siddim means to depart from this earth, from corruption.
Throw away your habitual sins, negative views, complaints and resentment.
2. You have to wait for the time.
The two spies who had visited Jericho said that victory was inevitable as long as we entered, but they encamped by the Jordan River and stayed for three days.
Failure in life is often caused by not being able to discern the time.
3. You must follow the priest who carried the ark of the covenant.
Look to God and run. Do not take the lead in the Word of God anymore.
4. You must sanctify yourself.
God also uses ugly vessels. Use a small bowl too.
But he does not use dirty dishes.
He said, “If you believe, you will see the glory of God” (John 11:40).
Do not try to see the glory and believe it.
Living the faith should be a priority and be upright. Enter by faith.
