In '16 richest people of this century', he is known as the oil king of the United States.
Rockefeller (839-1937) is number one.
Why did he have such economic power in this world?
From a young age, from a Jewish mother
This is because the following ten lessons have been thoroughly taught.
1. Serve God more than your own father.
A more important provider than the real father is God.
2. Serve the pastor after God.
in a good relationship with the pastor
Listening to and following God's word is a blessed way.
3. Have Sunday worship at this church.
As a child of God, we must be faithful to the church.
4. Since tithes belong to God, set them apart first
The rest should be used.
5. Make no one your enemy.
If you don't have a good relationship with other people,
Because it can be an obstacle.
6. Set a goal in the morning and pray.
Entrusting God with what we have to do today,
We need a prayer that fully believes that He will be with us.
7. Reflect on the day and pray before going to bed.
Repent quickly and overcome the difficulties and sufferings caused by sin
should be avoidable
8. Be sure to read the Word of God in the morning.
9. If you can help others, do your best to help.
And never blow the trumpet for help.
10. Always sit in the front during worship.
Worshiping and listening to the Word more than anyone else
It takes effort to take the lead.
Christianity is a religion of filial piety. Let's keep in mind what the Bible teaches.
In Proverbs 23:22-25
22 Be obedient to your father who gave birth to you, and do not despise your old mother.
23 Buy the truth and not sell it, but wisdom and instruction and understanding.
24 The father of the righteous will rejoice greatly, and he who gives birth to a wise child
will rejoice over him
25 Make your father and mother happy, and the mother who gave birth to you.
Exodus 20:12 says, “Honor your father and mother, that the LORD your God
You will live long in the land I am giving you.”
In Ephesians 6:1-3
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 Honor your father and mother, for this is the first commandment with a promise.
3 For it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.
When Jesus was 12 years old, he lived a life of faith with his parents.
If you are over the age of 12, you are obliged to celebrate the Feast of Firstfruits, Passover, and Tabernacles three times a year.
God has commanded you to keep it. Jesus kept this feast with his parents.
Even American oil king Rockefeller remembered and kept his mother's orders.
1. Jesus knew the Word well. (Verses 46-47)
Everyone said they were surprised. (Verse 48)
We should learn the Bible from an early age.
In 2 Timothy 3:15-17, Timothy also said that he knew the Bible from an early age.
15 And since you were young you have known the Scriptures, which are able to teach you
that there is wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed for teaching, for reproof, for correction,
It is useful for training in righteousness.
17 This is to make the man of God complete, complete for every good work.
2. Jesus devoted his prayer life. (Verse 49)
Jesus said, Why did you seek me?
Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?
Later, Jesus referred to the temple as a house of prayer.
Matthew 21:13 "He said to them, It is written, My house is a house of prayer.
You will be called, but you make dens of robbers."
3. Jesus was obedient and filial. (Verses 51-52)
51 Jesus went down to Hana and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to him. His mother took all these words to heart.
52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
