Title: Let's do what we say boldly

Content 1. Words that begin

The era of ideological warfare is over, and the era of economic warfare between countries and countries in the same region has arrived. Already, in many ways, especially in rural areas, our country is becoming a serious problem, and it can be expected that many national problems will arise as a result. Therefore, it seems that we need more economically powerful rulers than political ones. However, it can be said that the fate of a country does not depend on the leadership of one or two rulers, but on the mindset and abilities of all the people. At this time, we need to know what kind of mindset and skills Joshua must have through the revelations he received from God, who are preparing for the battle for the conquest of Canaan.

2. Revelation of God

After the death of Moses, the servant of God, who was the leader of the Exodus and the wilderness journey, God entrusted Joshua, Moses' chief adviser, with the great mission of the war to conquer Canaan. Joshua, who was still a wanderer, did not have an army like an army in his own people, but he knew well that the people of Canaan were strong and the city was strong. So, in Joshua's heart, a bit of anxiety and fear took hold.

God's revelation came to Joshua.

First, as God promised to Moses, He would lift up Israel, destroy the people of Canaan, ripe for iniquity, and give the land to Israel.

Second, he promises to be with Joshua as he was with Moses. God was with Joshua so that no one could face him, and he promised never to leave or forsake him.

The third is, therefore, to be strong and courageous. God told Joshua to let Israel conquer Canaan, so let go of even the slightest bit of anxiety or fear, and be strong and very courageous.

Human strength is often thought of as a disguise of weakness, and boldness is a disguise of cowardice. If you look behind the scenes of historical figures who wielded great power, you can clearly see it. We are all well aware of the servile flattery and flattery used in the presence of people stronger than them. Even the single most powerful man needs no explanation for how weak he can be in the face of death. So, God did not tell humans to be strong and courageous, but to be strong and courageous because you will be with us.

Everyone, I hope you believe that you are really strong people and you are really courageous people who walk with God. Christ Jesus, who came to us as God and conquered even death, promised to be with us to the end of the world. I hope that you will hold on to that promise and have a strong and courageous heart to win and prosper. The Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

There was a case in South Africa where a trio of robbers broke into a prison, threatened a prison guard with a pistol, and robbed him of $21,000 (16.8 million won) in a safe. Police spokeswoman Andy Pique said, "Prison authorities are very embarrassed by a robbery in the prison office and nowhere else."

Everyone! Since unbelievers are so bold to commit sins, shouldn't we, who must embody the words of love, righteousness, truth and freedom in the Lord, must be much stronger and more courageous than them?

God's repeated emphasis on the same words shows how important the strength and courage that comes from God's presence is important to human beings who are anxious and fearful because of the numerous problems that arise with their tails.

The fourth is to become a person of the word given through Moses. God said that if you have a strong and courageous heart, put the law in your mouth, meditate on it day and night, and keep it all, if you do not turn left or right, the road will be smooth and you will prosper wherever you go.

Being strong and bold is closely related to the Word of God. True strength and boldness are possible when we are based on God's promise to be with us. And it is only with that strong and courageous heart that we can keep and practice God's Word despite all the bad conditions. Also, when we obey the Word, we become stronger and more courageous because of the amazing success and victory that comes to those who obey.

In the end, the gist of the text is to tell Joshua, who is preparing for the battle for the conquest of Canaan, where the nation's rise and fall, must be strong and courageous based on God's promises of victory and prosperity, and to keep all the words of God with a strong and courageous heart. will be If you do that, you will surely win and prosper.

What is important is not our reason, will, or emotions, but hold on to the Word of God. It is not that we become the masters of our lives, but that we have the Lord as the masters of our lives. To do this, we must know and practice the Word, the Bible.

Napoleon of France did not live according to the words of the Bible, but said, "The Bible is not just a book, it is a book that has the power to conquer all things." Abraham Lincoln said, "The Bible is God's greatest gift to man, Every good thing that comes from God is passed on to us through the Bible.??The famous British politician Gret Stone said in his book 'Impossible Rock Island', "I have known 95 world-famous celebrities in my lifetime, and 85 of them were believers and followers of the Bible."

The Rev. George Mueller (1805-1898) was awarded the title of 'Father of Love', who cared for over 3,000 orphans in England. "How could you do such a terrific thing?" To that question, he answered: ? have read the Bible 100 times in my life. However, I have never gotten tired of it. Each time I read it, it was new, and every time I read it, it gave me hope. I speak from my 54 years of experience. I believe in Jesus. I didn't read the Bible for the first 3 years. At that time, I was a dead Christian who didn't feel the joy or mission as a believer. I think 2-3 years are lost time. The vitality of spiritual life is in direct proportion to the question of whether or not to read the Bible every day. It goes up and down. If you can read the Bible as your daily routine, there will be no more grace than that."

3. Conclusion

As Christians and citizens of a nation, we must fulfill the role of light and salt of the nation in our respective spheres. Everyone is concerned that the future of the country will never be bright, given the trend of economic warfare that will intensify day by day. Also, we ourselves have many struggles to win, including many difficult problems and battles with ourselves. We earnestly pray that all of us believe in Almighty God and do what He says with strength and courage to win and prosper.
