Title: Let's find the path given to me.

Let's find the path given to me. / 1 Corinthians 15:9-10

*** Introduction

There are two main types of life in the world. One is the material life, the other is the spiritual life. The material life is the life of all living things that have material life. That is, plants such as trees and grass, microorganisms, insects, animals, and even humans, which have bodies, live for survival and reproduction. On the other hand, the spiritual life refers to a life that is created in God's image and lives in relationship with God. That is, it is the life of those who believe in Jesus Christ and have spiritual life.

Every creature created by God has a purpose, whether it is an inanimate object without any life, a creature with material life, or a person with a spirit life. And you will live to achieve that purpose. Jesus said that the providence of the birds of the air and the lilies of the field to live, and that even the death of one insignificant sparrow is in the providence of God.

This is Matthew 6:26 (Modern Language Bible). “Look at the birds in the air. Birds don't sow, reap, or gather food in barns, but they don't worry about food. Because your Father who is in heaven nourishes you. But are you not much more precious than birds?” Verse 28, “And why do you worry about clothes? Look at the lilies of the field! The lily does not labor or weave, but does not worry about what to wear.” Verse 30, “O you of little faith! God takes such good care of the flowers that bloom today and will be thrown into the furnace tomorrow, how much more will he not take better care of them?” 10:29, “How much are two sparrows worth? Isn't it only an assarion? But not one of them falls to the ground unless your Father permits it.”

1. God works through all creation and man.

If you read the Bible, you will see that God uses the tools of God's called prophets, God's people, even Gentiles who do not serve God. God calls and uses people to accomplish His will.

“I hope you will grow a wonderful farm with God.”

“Amazing! This is the power of God. God and your work is truly beautiful.”

Then the farmer said,

“Yeah, not like that. But, Pastor, think about this. What was it like when God alone farmed a farm in the past? ”

A farmer's words make sense. The beautiful world created by God is made more beautiful through the sweat and hard work of people. The world is nurtured through people who obey God's work. In other words, God accomplishes His will through nations, peoples, chosen people, and all things.

This is Ezra 1:1-2 (Modern Language Bible). “In the year Cyrus king of Persia took the throne, Jehovah fulfilled the promise he had already made known through the prophet Jeremiah. When the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia, who had seized the rulership of the world, he proclaimed to all his empire, writing it down and promulgated it: Announced by Cyrus, king of Persia. The LORD, the God of heaven, has put all the nations of the earth into my hands. And he gave orders to build his own temple in Jerusalem in the kingdom of Judah. Therefore, I am issuing this decree now.”

Cyrus was the king of Persia. He is a Gentile, not a worshiper of God. However, through him, the people of Judah who were in captivity returned to their homeland, and the temple and the city of Jerusalem were rebuilt.

God chose Joseph to fulfill the kingdom promised to Abraham, and led Jacob's family to Egypt through famine and Pharaoh the king of Egypt. After 430 years, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt and led them to Canaan, and Joshua gave them the division of the land of Canaan. Not only that, he opened the donkey's mouth to enlighten the disobedient prophet Balaam, and he enlightened the prophet Jonah through a large fish and gourd. He fed through the crows for the prophet Elijah and prepared the widow of Zarephath to provide food during the long drought. He opened the way for the gospel through the apostle Paul, and prepared people to help him wherever he went.

2. God gives grace worthy of his calling.

The confession, “I am what I am by the grace of God” is also an expression of God's work that is possible only through the grace of God. Paul knew this very well, and in 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, and Ephesians 4, he teaches the gifts God has given to each person. The purpose of God's giving gifts to the saints is in Ephesians 4:12 (Modern Language Bible), "Why did God give us the special ability to do our best? It is to make the church, the body of Christ, strong and mature by enabling our people of God to work harder for God.”

What gifts do you have? If a given gift is not used, the gift is lost. As Jesus said in the parable of the talents, he said that those who hide their talents, that is, gifts, will not only be deprived of them, but will be cast out. Are you making good use of that gift now? Gifts are filled with greater gifts the more they are used. Also, in the parable of the talents, He tells the fact that he took the gift of the person who had hidden it and gave it to the person who left a lot by using it well.

Have you found the path given to you now?

God has chosen and called me to do the work of the kingdom of God in this age. The work of the kingdom of God is for our own sake. He has given us the path of life that we must follow so that we may enjoy eternal life and glory. We must go down this road with all our zeal. God has prepared everything for the way we should go, but He does not force us to go that way. The choice is ours.

“I can’t even thank Pyongyang if I don’t like it.” In other words, it means 'No matter how good it is, if you don't like it, you can't do it. It is up to you to eat even if you set the quintessential feast.

In the days of medieval monasticism, a devout monk named 'Saint Anthony' fled the world and devoted himself exclusively to the capital in a cave. One day, in a dream, a man appeared and told him

“Anthony, the shoemaker in Alexandria lives a more pious life than yours.”

was to say. Anthony woke up in surprise and ran to Alexandria that way. He asked the shoemaker, “How do you lead such a godly life?” Then the seaman

“Am I leading a godly life of faith? I am just a hard worker who works hard every day.”

Doing God's work does not mean that you should come to the church every day to pray, read the Bible, and lead a holy life. It is undeniable that prayer, reading and listening to the Word, and singing are inescapable because the saints have fellowship with God. However, this kind of fellowship with God must be done with zeal and sincerity in the path given to you. In other words, godliness that is not practiced in life is only a shell.

Let's not let our hearts waver that the world is chaotic and our values are shaken. Let's proceed with sincerity and diligence on the path given to us. The reward will be God. I pray that you will achieve a life of moving forward toward the Lord without losing your way in any circumstance and situation.
