Title: Let's get together with Miss Bar

Sometimes we come across many people and sometimes we think that one person is nothing. But you don't know how important that one person is. I can't imagine how great things can happen because of that one person.
However, regardless of the era, depending on what kind of judgment, policy, decision, and speech a leader who leads the era makes, a nation can rise or fall, a nation can be saved, and It might even kill you. Therefore, if a leader thinks well, acts straight, and sets policies well, all the people of the country will be blessed because of that one person.
According to the Bible, the priest Eli was once the spiritual leader of Israel, and he was old and old in body and dark in his eyes. Therefore, Priest Eli, who was spiritually dark, not only destroyed himself and his family, but the entire nation of Israel plunged into despair and fell into despair.
Eli's two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, had a priest as their father, but were delinquents and did not know the Lord God. Although they succeeded in their father's work as a priest, they despised the sacrifices offered to God and committed evil, such as sleeping with a woman who served at the door of the tent of meeting even though they had their own family. So when Eli the priest heard this bad news, he called his sons and rebuked them. But despite their father's rebuke, they did not listen.
In the end, Israel was defeated in the war with the Philistines and the ark of the covenant of God was taken away, and Hophni and Phinehas died on the spot. When Eli heard that the Ark of the Covenant had been stolen along with the news of his two sons' warriors, he was shocked by the shock, sat on a chair, fell and broke his neck and died.
Moreover, at that time, Phinehas's wife died while giving birth. When she gave birth to a son, she named the child Ichabod, which means "Glory has departed from Israel." Here we see a tragic event in which a family is completely destroyed by one man who was spiritually dark.
But at this time, God's grace came. At a time when the nation of Israel was being destroyed by leaders without prayer, spiritually dark leaders, and unrepentant leaders, Samuel, a man of prayer, born of Hannah, a woman who prayed, appeared, and it became an opportunity for the nation of Israel to rise again.
Finally, God came to Samuel, the man of prayer, and began to speak to him. Not a single word of Samuel's message to the people fell to the ground and was fulfilled, so all the people of Israel knew that Samuel had been appointed as the prophet of the Lord. (1 Samuel 3:19-20).
The sun began to set on the land of Israel due to the fault of one priest Eli, but the bright morning sun began to rise again in the land of Israel due to the appearance of the prophet Samuel.
In 1 Samuel 7, Samuel commanded the Israelites to gather at Mizpah. Mizpah is located 13 km north of Jerusalem. This was to have a united gathering to pray together. In fact, like Daniel, it is important to pray three times a day. However, like the Mizpah Crusade, when all the Israelites gather in one place and pray in one accord, it can create even greater works.
Just as a small fire becomes a big fire when it is collected, even a small force becomes a big fire when it is collected. Therefore, even if you have a small faith, gather ten, one hundred, one thousand, ten thousand people! We believe that great works will happen if we gather together in one heart to pray and cry out to God.
Samuel gathered many people at Mizpah and cried out to God to end the spiritual darkness in Israel and bring about a great spiritual revival. Not only that, but it brought the wonderful history of blessing to bring back the perishing nation of Israel.
In today's text, the Israelites fasted and
1. It was a meeting of repentance.
Repentance means restoring our relationship with God.
“We have sinned.” I repented and prayed. Do you know what is the most powerful prayer that opens the door of heaven in prayer? Shouting out loud is not a powerful prayer. The prayer of repentance, fasting and asking God for forgiveness, is the most powerful prayer.
We must always look back where we went wrong, observe ourselves and repent of our sins.
2. I will serve only the Lord. (Conversion = turning away)
It is not only that we repent of our sins, but only when there is a history of conversion, God is pleased.
The people of Israel met the right spiritual leader, obeyed his words, and immediately repented.
A history of conversion took place. And they confess that they will serve only God.
At this time, Satan does not give up and enters the country called the Philistines and begins to attack.
What we need to look at here is to be converted from the wrong faith of the past and to glorify God.
When I try to do it, I have to realize that Satan has brought me something to be tested to prevent it. I wish you great spiritual deep grace.
Never give up or fall over just because there is a hindrance. It is the most wise to ask God for help the more closely you do, and God will work miracles for you.
According to Daniel 6, Daniel was the most agile and outstanding among the three prime ministers who ruled the whole country during the reign of King Darius. The prime ministers who worked together were jealous, but they could not find any grounds for accusation, so they made a ban and in 30 days anyone asked for anything from any god or person other than the king, and they were thrown into the lions' den.
Even though Daniel knew that the provisions of this decree had been stamped with a fish seal, he opened the window toward Jerusalem and, as he had done in the past, knelt down three times a day and prayed and gave thanks to God.
He became a snare and was thrown into the lions' den, but we remember that God sent an angel to seal the lion's mouth and rescue Daniel from the den.
It is written that when the Philistines attacked, Samuel was more courageous and offered a whole burnt offering to the Lord.
When Satan comes close to destroy my faith and a situation arises beyond my control
I pray that you will draw closer to God, hold the hand of the Lord, and pray for victory.
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near.”
“Cast all your anxieties on the Lord. And he will do it.”
Verse 10 says, “He made a great thunderstorm against the Philistines, and disturbed them, and they were defeated before Israel.” He stopped the Philistines from attacking again while Samuel lived. Hallelujah!!
I hope you will always remember that God blocks all enemies and defeats them when you come before God with faithful and complete faith.
3. Give complete worship to God!
God really hates boring worship, worship without sincerity, and worship that is reluctant. If you look at Malachi 1:6-10, you can see how disgusting it is.
(6) Priests who despise my name, I, the LORD of hosts, say to you, A son honors his father, and a servant honors his master. But you say, How have we despised your name?
(7) Even when you offer unclean bread on my altar, you say, “How have we defiled the Lord?” For you say that you will despise the Lord’s table.
(8) How is it not evil when you offer sacrifices to the blind, says the LORD of hosts, and how is it not evil to offer those who are lame or sick? Now offer it to your governor. Will he please you?
(9) Ask my God for mercy, saith the LORD of hosts, and have mercy on us.
(10) I wish I had someone among you to shut the door of the temple so that you do not burn my altar in vain, says the LORD of hosts; I will not take pleasure in you, nor will I accept what your hands offer.
Our Lord wants to offer true worship through us.
Malachi 1 (11) From the rising of the sun to the setting of the sun, my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts; and in every place I will offer incense and clean offerings to my name, because my name is among the nations. it will be great
Romans 12:1-2 (1) Therefore, I beseech you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
(2) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, which is good, acceptable, and perfect.
The time you give to God should not be a time of exhaustion, but a time of happiness that you give with the most sincerity, and seek a worship service that offers your life risking your life.
We must remember that there must be an answer from God in this kind of worship.
The fact that even today, God wants to meet those who truly seek Him in many people’s IDs.
we must remember.
1) Defeat the enemy.
Hophni and Phinehas were also lost in the war and died, but we must pay attention to the fact that only Samuel, who received the perfect burnt offering, defeated the enemy and the war ended.
Only God can defeat the enemies of our lives. Social enemies, family enemies, family enemies, and individual enemies are all things that cannot be solved by my own strength.
(Exodus 23:22) If you obey his voice and do all my words, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an enemy to your enemies.
(Deuteronomy 20:1) When you go out to fight your enemies, and you see horses and chariots and people outnumbering you, do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you.
(Deuteronomy 20:3) Say to them, "Listen, Israel, for you have come today to fight your enemies. Do not be afraid in your heart, do not be afraid or tremble, nor be dismayed by them." (Deuteronomy 20:3)
(Deuteronomy 20:4) The LORD your God is the one who walks with you and for your sake will fight your enemies and save you.
2) Recovering what was lost (recovery)
In verse 14, from Ekron to Gath, the city that was taken away by the Philistines, it was restored and “retrieved”. God allows us to regain the faith, material, and honor we lost due to unbelief.
3) To be given a peaceful life.
As long as Samuel lives, wars cease and peace is proclaimed. It is the fact that when the relationship with God is restored, there will be peace for oneself, peace among neighbors, well-being and peace of the company, organization, and country. (Leviticus 26:2-7)
