Title: Let's go shoulder to shoulder
Exodus (75) Let's go shoulder to shoulder (tables of the tabernacle) (Exodus 26:15-30)
< Role and Significance of the Tabernacle Board >
In the text, there is a word about the tabernacle boards. Each board of the tabernacle was 10 cubits high (4 m 50 cm), and each board was a cubit and a half (67.5 cm) wide. 20 boards (30 cubits) on the husband side of the sanctuary, 20 pieces (30 cubits) on the north side, and 6 pieces (9 cubits) on the west side make up the outer wall of the sanctuary. There are also two small corner boards on the west side of the corner. Therefore, the total number of boards on the west side is 8, and since there is no board on the east side of the entrance, the total number of boards for the tabernacle is 48.
The boards of the tabernacle form the frame of the entire sanctuary and at the same time keep the sanctuary safe from the winds and winds of the wilderness and sandstorms, so every board is important. The boards of the tabernacle are like each member of the church, so the expression “delayed” is used. One of the greatest blessings that Jesus gave to those who have been saved is the blessing of becoming a member of the body, the church. The apostle Paul confesses that the saints are being built together in Jesus (Ephesians 2:21-22).
Although Paul was a great servant, he was able to do great things because he worked together, not alone. In fact, there were many people in the New Testament who moved Paul. For example, Paul never forgot the warm love of the Philippians. When Paul was imprisoned in Rome, the Philippians sent a deacon to Epaphroditus to rescue Paul from prison. Such people are as great as Paul.
The same is true of Aristarchus (Colossians 4:10). There is no record that he preached, and there is no record that he prayed or preached much. But, looking at the Bible, strangely, he was always by Paul's side whenever he was having a hard time. Paul was able to rise again because of people like Aristarchus, who were with him in the scene of suffering whenever he felt so exhausted and wanted to give up. Without such helpers, there would be no Paul. All such hidden and secret devotees are precious.
< Plank base and plank strip >
The tabernacle boards were built with two silver bases on each board, so there were a total of 48 tabernacle boards and 96 silver bases. This silver pedestal supported the tabernacle boards, so the tabernacle could be built solidly. Even though 48 boards and 96 silver pedestals were mobilized for the tabernacle boards, they could not withstand the strong winds of the desert. So, the entire board was firmly bound with five bands on each board in the west, south, and north (verses 26-28).
Please save, exalt, and bless others with the spirit of a shoulder-to-shoulder friend. Happiness is true happiness when shared together. More than 35% of people of marriageable age now are single. Even those who live happily among them have deep feelings of unhappiness due to loneliness. Why don't you get married when you suffer from such loneliness? The biggest problem is the psychology of not wanting to give one's happiness to others and not wanting to serve anyone.
When it comes to matchmaking, few people have the thought of making others happy, and most of them ask, “How can I be happy with that person?” Just work hard to calculate. The mindset that only you are happy and that you are enjoying your life only leads to a terrifying trap and leads to unhappiness from which you can't escape. On the other hand, if he thinks “Who am I going to make happy?” without selfish calculations, happiness and blessings will never go away from him.
Happiness cannot be achieved selfishly. When you make others happy, you become happy, and when you bless others, you are also blessed. The Bible says that if the person whom I have blessed is not ready to receive the blessing, the blessing I prayed for will come to me. After all, a business that blesses others is the best business that never goes down. Prepare for greater blessings by becoming great spiritual merchants who always bless others.
