Title: Let's Have Active Faith

Bible: Mark 7:24-30

Starting Point of the Word>>

This time, we would like to share a message with the title of “Let’s have an active faith”.

Even after discovering the grace of God given to me through the life of faith and realizing the mission given to me, we see that the way we appear as saints differs depending on the character of a person, the conditions of life, and the environment.

It means that we all received the same grace from God, but when it manifests itself in our faith life, it is different.

Some saints quietly attend church because they are satisfied with the grace they have received, and some saints do service and devotion for the grace they have realized.

It can be seen that the former is a member with a passive disposition, and the latter is a member with an active disposition.

Looking at the words of today's text, we must realize that God wants positive “dramatic faith.”

When you actively show your faith in God, He will answer you according to your faith.

According to Hebrews 11:6,

“Without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Said.

It means that we must receive God's grace and become believers with faith to become saints who come to God and who please God.

In the name of the Lord, I ask you to have a precious time to realize that you have an active faith in God through today's Word.

Then, what kind of attitude should we have for active faith?

First, in order to meet God, you must become a saint who actively seeks a meeting place.

If we look at verse 25,

“Then a woman who had a young daughter who had an unclean spirit heard the news of Jesus, and immediately came and fell at his feet.”

Said.

We must value the meeting with God and become saints who expect great works in Him.

These days, when many local churches are building temples, they say that they are designing churches for tourists.

Of course, if you look at the purpose, they say that it is for the saints who are looking for their hometown through working five days a week, and for tourists who are looking for local resorts.

However, the problem is that it is not a structure for the believers in their area.

Among the praises, there is a song called “salt that has lost its taste.

This is a praise for the church and members who are changing the center of all worship to self-centered rather than God.

In today's text, this woman came to the Lord to meet Jesus and fell at his feet.

In a way, with what qualifications can you come before the Lord?

She is the mother of the demon-possessed and a foreign woman.

However, we can see that this woman is a woman who has overcome her situation and circumstances and actively ran to Jesus.

I hope you will find the Lord who gives you great grace and work in this faith.

Second, we must become believers in God's omnipotent power.

If we look at the words of verse 26,

“She was a Greek, a Syrophonic, and she begged to cast the demon out of her daughter.”

The woman in today's text is showing faith in asking Jesus to cast out the demon that is attached to her daughter.

These words show that this woman acknowledges that Jesus is the Almighty, believes and prays.

If you watch TV these days, you can see that stories about 'exorcists' are often aired on cable TV.

But what's the problem?

Most of them are shamans or middlemen who deal with ghosts.

It is said to be a state in which demons are cast out through demons.

One day, the incident of Jesus casting out demons became a topic of discussion between the Pharisees and the priests.

Then the Pharisees said that Jesus was Beelzebub, the king of demons.

But Jesus is different from them.

It is said that those possessed by demons bring in larger demons and cast them out in order to cast out demons in the human body, which is said to be the one possessed by the greater demons.

But he said that those who were healed through Jesus were made clean.

Today, we must become believers who imitate this woman's faith.

It is not that miracles do not happen today because God does not have power.

We must pray that we will not become those who doubt the power of God.

Human knowledge and methods do not dare overcome the power of God.

In the name of the Lord, I ask that you, like this woman, become believers who profess the omnipotent power of God by faith.

Third, we must become saints who never give up our faith in any circumstances given to us.

If we look at verse 27,

“Jesus said to them, “Let the children first be satisfied; it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

Today, this woman comes to Jesus and is treated like an arrogant person.

We must remember that when God performs miracles and miracles, He always confirms that faith.

That is why he is testing us.

There are indeed many tests that come to us at this time, such as material tests, health tests, family tests, and parents' and children's tests.

However, we must remember that these tests are the grace of God who expects us to keep our faith in God no matter what our life conditions or circumstances are.

As the saying goes, “We are strong when we are weak,” we must confess that when we become weak through temptation, God helps us to become strong.

Although the woman in today's text was treated like a dog, she never wavered in her faith.

Do we have a difficult and difficult exam problem today?

Then today, we must become saints who seek the Lord's grace with joy.

This is because the amazing work that He did for this woman today will be experienced by us who do not give up our faith and go forward to the Lord.

Fourth, if we have kept our faith, we must become saints who show active faith toward God.

This is verse 28 of the text.

“The woman answered and said, “Yes, Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the crumbs that children used to eat.”

To Jesus, who treats herself like a dog, the woman confesses that she is like a dog.

At the same time, what I earnestly pray for is to look after myself.

I must be like a dog, asking for a favor for the crumbs falling from the table.

When this confession of faith was offered to Jesus, the woman's request was answered.

Look at verses 29-30 of the text.

“Jesus said to him, “Go back, because the devil has gone out of your daughter.” When the woman returned to the house, she found the child lying on the bed, and the demon had gone out.

It doesn't matter how big or small my faith is.

Some believers say that they can't do anything because they think that little faith is an absolute weapon.

We must realize that this profession of faith is spiritual pride.

Faith is our confession, but it is the grace God has given us.

God guides us to work according to the measure of faith that God has given us as a gift.

The problem is that the amount of faith given to me is buried in the ground, not because of the lack of God's power.

At the end of the speech>>

Organize your words.

In the name of the Lord, I ask that I do not become a saint who thinks freely of the measure of faith given to me now.

God is all-powerful.

I hope you will realize that God's work is happening when you actively participate in the meeting with Him, confess your power by faith, and actively show your faith with faith that does not give up when trials come.

Even today, this Almighty God gives us grace and mission through the place of our lives.

And He gives us the work we must bear as workers of faith.

Today, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become believers who do not look at me like the Syrophonic woman but see the glory of God by looking at God.
