Title: Let's Live in Christ
Contents
Today we seek to confirm this by participating in the Lord's Supper as a sign of Christ's death on the cross and the grace of redemption at this very hour. In this way, we hope that we will be able to completely eradicate the sinful toxins that are still dormant in us. I want to be able to completely burn out the roots of human desire, ambition and blood, stubbornness and selfishness.
Next, we must continue to live in Christ even though we have become new humans by the blood of Christ's atoning blood. To continue living in Christ means to breathe Christ and to live on the food of Christ's words.
The Catholic Church dogmatically asserts that the bread and wine received in the Lord's Supper become flesh and blood. There is a question as to whether the physical reality becomes like that, but in terms of spiritual content, we must breathe Christ and eat Christ to form the Christian constitution with the nourishment of Christ. Therefore, Christians must live in the atmosphere of Christ, breathing the air of Christ. Therefore, I want you to think deeply that you must always be immersed in church attendance, worship attendance, and a religious atmosphere.
If you look at the history of Christianity, even the same church has completely cut off ties with the world church and has been left alone in a pagan climate for a long time, and it has become corrupted or destroyed. The atmosphere is very important for the growth of the religious life. There are many people who say that they will only attend church services and believe in Jesus comfortably because the people who volunteer at the church say they spend too much time and effort. However, the opposite phenomenon occurs when one gets rid of that position of service and does a better life of faith without taking on the position of church service. People must be bound everywhere, and their faith grows by immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the church and participating in it.
The Lord's Supper also means feeding on Christ by eating bread and wine, which symbolize the body and blood of Christ. We want to be able to participate more in church worship, read the Bible, give strength to prayer, and be immersed in the atmosphere of the church and the atmosphere of faith.
Next, to live in Christ means to participate in the work of Christ and to live as fellow workers with him. A mature believer participates in Christ's work and shares his work. The work of Christ is to believe, to serve, to serve, to love our neighbor, to teach what is right, to preach the gospel, to establish justice, and to create peace. Together, we care for nature and create a just society. It is also helping the weak, healing the sick, and bearing witness to the truth. However, if you participate in the work of Christ and try to do it, it is also impossible unless you forsake yourself. To forsake oneself is to take up the cross, and to kill oneself.
Today, after we have given up ourselves to become Christ's servants, we want to receive this sacrament together again in order to bear Christ's death on the cross in our body. By receiving this sacrament, let us settle the life we live for ourselves in Christ, and from now on, let us pledge together to live and die for Christ's work for the rest of our lives.
