Title: Let's live in grace (Psalm 111:4)
Content God is a God of grace. In order for us to live in this world of grace, we must unconditionally believe, obey, and give thanks, obeying even if our eyes do not see any evidence, our ears do not hear anything, and our hands do not grasp anything. But otherwise, according to the disposition of Adam who ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he criticizes, criticizes, and judges everything God does, obeys when he thinks it is of little benefit to us; cannot live in the world of God's grace. Thus, we must live by our own efforts, means, methods, and abilities.
If we depend on human ability to live, we reach the limit. When Adam and Eve decided to leave God's grace and live by their own power, they soon reached a deep limit. What threshold had they reached? They discovered that they had no power to overcome sin. When they departed from God, sin took hold of them. So they became corrupt and astray, eventually becoming (servants of sin).
They also found that they had no power to overcome hatred. Those who left God could not overcome their hatred. For this reason, Adam's first son Cain stoned his second son Abel out of envy, jealousy, and hatred. From the time Cain killed Abel to the present day, wars and rumors of war have continued throughout the history of mankind. And Adam and Eve, who had departed from God, realized that they had no power to stop the way of old age and no power to stop the way of disease and death. No matter how good medicines are made and how long they last, there is no way to prevent human aging, disease, and death.
In addition, Adam discovered the limits of living through the thorns of the curse with human power. Thousands of people are dying naked, starving, sick, in calamity and suffering. And in the end, there is no power to escape the path of death and despair. Man dies one day , and then falls into eternal despair . No matter how hard you try to avoid it, you have no strength to avoid it. As soon as Adam and Eve left the grace of God, they realized that human power is limited.
The first thing Adam and Eve realized was (shame of nakedness). To realize nakedness means to come to realize that (incompetent existence) is. Even today, those who have departed from God are spiritually naked, intellectually naked, and also naked in life. They always reach the limit of their abilities.
Therefore, our family should hope for God's grace and live by entrusting everything to God. Then God will take charge of our lives. And if we have received grace, we should practice the will of the Lord and live a worthy life.
Prayer: Gracious God. Please protect our daily life so that our family can devote themselves to their neighbors and live a worthwhile life. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
