Bible Text: 1 John 4:7-8
let's love each other
(1 John 4:7-8)
A couple enjoying a drive was arguing over a trivial matter and came home without a word. As I was walking into the neighborhood, I saw a dog squirming out of the car window, and the husband sarcastically compared him to his wife. “I see your family, isn’t it nice to see you? Why don't you say hello?" Upon hearing this, the wife opened the window and said in a loud voice, “Hello. Father-in-law!” The dog was just running, so I said, “Sir-in-law, go slow.” On that day, the man was defeated by KO.
Laughter is an emotion that makes the whole body happy. When you smile, your mouth opens and your nostrils expand. It's called LOVE in English. Love means “satisfy” or “satisfy”. How to satisfy and satisfy?
“Beloved, let us love one another; he who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” What is love? I'm not talking about the theory of love, but the practical part of love. Let's unpack the word love.
Look at each other and smile
The first letter of LOVE is ‘L’. Laugh, that is, laughter. To smile face to face is love. It's not a bell until it rings, and it's not a song until it's sung. You don't laugh until you laugh. Love is to laugh. Love does not rejoice over iniquity, but rejoices with the truth (1 Corinthians 13:6). Annoying and complaining is not love. If laughter comes and goes between people, that is love.
The couple exchanged three-way poems. The first word is 'one hut'. The wife told her husband that the monkey's butthole was red, both sides were red, and the "mak" was just red. This time the husband presented the monkey to his wife. ‘Won’ wife suddenly said that the monkey’s asshole is red, ‘Soong’ is red, and ‘Lee’ is not.
“Beloved, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 John 4:11). People who smile face to face They are in love. The world we live in is very difficult. It's always going to be stressful to live with. A world without laughter is a real bread without anko. If a person who cannot use a computer is blind, a person who cannot laugh is said to be blind. Laughter is a prerequisite for a healthy and happy life.
A foreigner came to Korea to live and learn the Korean language. He, who speaks quite a bit of Korean, attended a year-end party, and was asked to say hello there and attended the party. I came out with a greeting. “Now the old year is gone and the new year is coming. Not all old years are bad years, and not all new years are good years. But still, the new year is a good year. Let's all get ready for the new year with hope," the grandmother added. “Looking in the world, that bitch is that bitch!” So everyone laughed.
Just like cooking, you can create happiness and laughter. We believe in creationism. We believe that the universe did not come naturally, but that God created it. Laughter doesn't come by itself. I laugh because there are funny people. As the golf genius Tiger Universe said, “There is no other way to get people's approval than to work hard. Innate abilities are actually created by humans. It’s just fiction.” The power to laugh is love. It is love that forgets everything in life and makes you laugh and be cheerful. Laughter creates harmony, and love appears. “Do not associate with a wrathful man, or walk with a bitter man, lest you copy your ways and fall into a snare of your soul” (Proverbs 22:24-25).
Look at each other and say OK
The second of LOVE is ‘O’. Love is looking at each other and liking each other. It is OK to face each other. Good! great! This is it.
Yes, love is sharing suffering and joy together. It is about gathering strength together in difficult times. A true friend lovingly pats his friend when he makes a mistake. When you fail, it constantly motivates you to rise above failure and raise your potential.
Love is patient and love is gentle. Love is not rude and does not seek its own. “I have learned to be content in all circumstances. I know how to be in need, and I know how to abound. I have learned the secret of being satisfied in all things, in spite of hunger, abundance and want” (Philippians 4:11-12).
“Faith alone, faith alone, all things will work out, faith alone, faith alone, faith alone, all things will work out, faith alone and faith alone”
They looked at each other and said, “Oh!” And admiring it is love. I am ok! Baby ok! This is love. Love is a power that can be found anywhere in the world. Love conquers everything. A home without love is not a home, just as a body without a soul is not a person.
The Bible we read today says that God is love. Where there is love, there is God. Where there is hate, there is no God. People live by the power of love. I hope they see each other and be happy with love and ok.
See each other and win
The third letter of LOVE is ‘V’. Victory means victory. Love doesn't mean that one wins and the other loses. Seeing each other and winning is love. A victory in a match has winners and losers, but a victory in love has no losers, only winners.
Love is bright and full of happiness. If the other person makes a mistake, do not reprimand. Rather, I feel compassion. This is love. Love is not a war that defeats the opponent and invites hurrah. Love is a spirit of abundance. The psychology of abundance is that the other person does not have to fail because I have to succeed, and my success is not hindered by the success of others. “If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar, and he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen” (1 John 4:20).
Married couples are sometimes in a competitive relationship, winning and losing often happens. Some couples did not talk to each other when they had a fight. The first thing to do was to think that talking was losing and just let it go without saying a word. But one day, my husband was on a business trip to the countryside and had to get up early. To put it bluntly, I was so proud of myself that I put a note on my pillow saying, “Wake me up at six tomorrow morning.” My wife got up at 6 o'clock and wrote "It's 6 o'clock, get up" on a notepad and put it on the bedside table. When my husband woke up, it was past 7 o'clock. The man got angry and said, "No, I woke up in the morning and comforted you, but what is this? I'm just going to try!" She pointed her finger at the note that she had placed on her bedside table. When I looked there, it was written, "It's 6 o'clock, get up."
What is a couple? Are you up for a fight? Who are you fighting to win? “You are wonderful!” Let's cry and live Let's live proudly, have fun, be cool, and lose. The couple is one body, and the church is one body. When one body fights, its own body is broken. When you run with two people tied, if one falls, they both fall. Jesus said that if we bite and eat each other, we will all perish. Shared victory, win-win-win-win is love.
Rejoice to see each other
The last letter of LOVE is ‘E’. Love is EnjoyPleasure. It is heartwarming and happy. A good feeling arises and the heart is happy. Feelings of love create pleasure.
“Is anyone in affliction, let him pray, and if there is anyone who rejoices, let him sing” (James 5:13). God loves to be praised.
God is pleased when we rejoice and sing praises.
“A happy heart is good medicine, but a sorrowful spirit dries up the bones” (Proverbs 17:22).
Austrian psychologist Dr Alfred Adler said to a depressed patient who came to him: “If you follow my instructions for the next two weeks, you can be healthy. It's not very difficult. All you have to do is figure out whether you can please others every day and put it into practice.” Love is not about seeking your own pleasure, but about making others happy. To please others is to love.
The bald man went to the barber shop. I said while getting a haircut. I only have half my hair, so I can only pay half the haircut fee, right? As the barber shaves, he says, “Yes. However, since the number of faces to be shaved has doubled, you should double the shaving fee.” Love is giving pleasure to others.
It's not normal to have fun while harassing others. Love is what makes each other happy. There is a thing called the motto of a loving wife. Brother Lincoln, "I am husband for wife by wife's wife." Kennedy, "I don't think about what my wife will do for me, think about what I will do for her." Korean version, "I was born on this land with a historic mission for my wife."
A certain Kwon-nim was talking to the people, and an elder interrupted and said, “Speaking of bullshit!” I did. Everyone was looking at me with surprised eyes, so I explained that ‘Dog’ is a woman with personality, ‘So’ is a simple woman, and ‘Lee’ is a woman with leadership. You must listen to the end. What a fun scene.
Roosevelt, who served as President of the United States, was paralyzed from his leg. Nevertheless, there was a woman who loved him very much. One day, Roosevelt asked Eleanor, the woman he loved. “Do you love me even though I am so crippled? I love everything about you.” He gained confidence from the woman who loved him. He became the only U.S. president to be elected to a four-term term. He overcame the terrible economic crisis and left behind the achievement of establishing a new democracy. When he has someone he truly loves, he is happy and victorious.
Love is to laugh. Laughter is stronger than any nuclear weapon. To love each other is to laugh at each other. Love is OK. affirming each other. It doesn't discriminate against scrutiny. Love is winning over each other. It's a joint win. Overcoming evil with good is the triumph of love. Love is to enjoy each other.
