Title: Let's Love Each Other First

let's love each other first
The text tells how the saved people should lead a life of faith, especially the attitude they should serve in the church.
Romans 12:1 says, present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
When a believer has to offer his body as a living, holy sacrifice pleasing to God, it means serving and serving God and his neighbors. And in verses 6-8, God says that God has given each of us various gifts so that we can live a life of service. Therefore, each member of the church should live a life of humbly serving according to the gifts they have received.
Salvation is received by faith.
But James 2:17 says that faith without works is itself dead.
The word “crossed over from death to life” appears twice in the Bible, and it is as follows.
John 5:24 says, "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."
This means that those who believe in Jesus have moved from the realm of death to the realm of life that God rules. If you believe, you are saved.
However, if we look at 1 John 3:14, we find a deeper message.
“We know that we have passed from death into life because we love our brother; but he who does not love abides in death.”
What do you mean?
No matter how much you say you are saved, if you do not love your brother, you are not saved and you are still in the place of death.
Those who believe in Jesus have passed from death to life.
At the same time, those who have passed from death to life in this way will surely love God and their neighbors because they are saved.
Gifts are revealed to those who believe in Jesus Christ and have experienced the Holy Spirit.
But the secret that these various gifts become one in Christ is the love of God, who gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for us.
The church is a community of love.
How can we become a community of love?
1. Hate evil and belong to the good (verse 9).
2. Do it first / verse 10
Let us have the humility to love those we do not want to love.
The way for the church to become a community of love is to confess my love first.
both in marriage and at work.
3. Be diligent/ Verse 11/
Love makes you diligent.
4. Wait in hope / verse 12
The situation at the time the text was written was not a peaceful one.
In reality, they had nothing to expect.
But they were able to wait with hope because of the promise of God the Father.
It was because We have faith that the Lord is coming again, a new heaven and a new earth,
There is a promised land where there is no water, no death and no sighs. Don't be afraid.
Therefore, those who have faith wait patiently to the end.
So 1 Corinthians 13:4 defines “love is patient”. If you can't stand it, it's not love
That is the word.
Parents waiting for runaway children do not watch the time.
It is the church that waits for the weak saints.
And what you should do while waiting is ‘Prayer’.
When we rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, and strive for prayer, we become a loving community.
5. Make every effort to provide for the needs of the saints and to show hospitality/ Verse 13
The true church is in ‘serving’. You have to go downstairs.
If we could show our love, our service, and our sacrifice, Christ would
You will be glorified.
This is the church.
There is one thing to remember, especially when helping others.
① Help when you are in need - When you have no money, when you go to jail, when you are sick.
② Help not only with the mind but also with the material.
③ Be humble when helping - Those who need help are at their weakest.
Therefore, you must save your self-esteem and help.
So Jesus told us not to let the left hand know what the right hand did.
You did. It means to fill that person's need with love.
1 Peter 4:7-11 The end of all things is near.
Therefore, be sober and sober and pray;
Above all, will you love each other with fervor?
Love covers a multitude of sins;
to treat one another without grumbling;
As each has received a gift, God's various graces
Serve one another as good stewards entrusted;
If anyone speaks, let them speak as if they were speaking the word of God.
If anyone wants to serve, do it with the power that God supplies.
in all things through Jesus Christ
that God may be glorified
To him is glory and power forever and ever. Amen
He who loves God and loves his neighbor
1. Hate evil and belong to good.
2. Do it first.
3. Be diligent.
4. Waiting in hope.
5. It is difficult to provide necessities for the saints and to treat them with hospitality.
Saints! Love each other first!
