The purpose of the Lord's coming is to save sinners. Specifically, when he was weak, he died for the ungodly, and further, when he was a sinner, he confirmed his love by dying, and furthermore, when he was an enemy, he died to reconcile with God. The text is an extension of the Sermon on the Mount, and Jesus said to bless the persecutors, not to repay evil for evil, but to seek good deeds, and to love even our enemies. However, since we are saints who have received this great love of God and have been saved, we must keep it even if it is difficult. What is the benefit to us at this time?
1. You can preserve the grace of God.

In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:38), Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘A tooth for an eye for an eye’, but I tell you, love your enemies and repay good for evil. In verse 19 of the text, he said to leave it to God's wrath with the same content. because? We cannot avenge our enemies properly, and even if we do, it creates a vicious cycle of retaliation. Evil feelings synergize and bring about greater evil. (Eyes-Eyes) But God will repay you in due time, and if God repays, there is no problem. David and Saul's relationship (1 Samuel 24:16-22) Therefore, repaying evil with good is really repaying.
3. You can get enemies as friends.
In this way, when you repay good for evil rather than evil, you can get your enemies as friends. (20) Your enemies ---- you will pile up coals on your head.” It is said that because of the unexpected kindness of the enemy, the heart of the enemy is changed, and it is said that it symbolizes the anguish and inner conflict of the heart just before admitting the mistake. The other person is also human, so how can you not know what is wrong? I thought they would come to me as an enemy, but when they approach me with kindness, won't I be impressed? In this case, I can make my enemies my friends. What could be better than this?
As we go through life, we meet people who are like enemies who persecute us. Even within the church, there is a case of enmity. But we are saints who should make peace with all people. What could be better than this if you love your neighbors and persecutors as well as your enemies and make friends? This is ultimately a path for yourself. If you preserve God's grace, break the vicious cycle of evil, and make this place a heaven by making your enemies your friends, you are the best Christian.
