This friend's name is Sanghoon. I'm in my second year now. This friend has a lot of complaints about being ugly like today. "I'm really ugly. My eyes are so small that I can't tell if they are open or closed. I have a pig's nose and a thick mouth. Why are my cheeks so fat? Nobody's going to like me."
So Sang-hoon always had bad thoughts about his mother. "Why did my mom give birth to me so ugly. All the other friends are cool and pretty. I really hate her."

But because Jesus was always evangelizing outside, his clothes were dirty and he couldn't be as stylish as the people gathered there. As Jesus and his disciples entered the banquet house, the guide said, "Hey, you sit there by the door and eat. This isn't a lot. This is the place where noble Pharisees and lawyers gather. Who told you to come to this place!"

"This guy knows who I am and is being so spoiled. I'm the son of God. Aren't you afraid of God?" And he may have made fire fall in the sky at the banquet house.
▶ What would you do if Sang-hoon was the same friend?

Jesus said “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” Jesus humbled himself and took a low seat and preached the gospel to the people.

"Yes, my family is poor and difficult right now, but I am a daughter of God. And I am thankful that God protects our house even without money." Mi-sun went home and told her father. "Dad, be strong. Even if you don't wear pretty clothes, even if you can't be shy, I'll live as humble as Jesus. And I love you so much."
▶ Sang-hoon also heard the story of Jesus and realized it.
"Yeah, it's not all about faces. Jesus loves people who are a little uglier than people who pretend to be good-looking, but who love Him with humility. Jesus loves me, so what should I complain about?" Sang-hoon told his mother. "Mom, thank you so much. Even though I am a little ugly, thank you for always praying for me. I am so grateful that I was born in a family that believes in Jesus. I love you so much."
