(Psalm 108:1-7)
Verse 1, My heart was set to serve God with all my heart. It is not serving in moderation, convenience, or convenience, but serving with all your heart. You might think of attending church as serving God, but in the text, King David is very specific about serving God. “I will sing praises with all my heart, and I will serve,” he confesses.
Verse 2, David was determined to serve God even at dawn. It is the morning prayer. Awake, harp, harp. The harp is an instrument that David used to sing along with the lyre, and he started his daily life by praising God from dawn. Therefore, in Acts 13:22, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, and he will do all my will.” Dear saints, I hope that we can offer dawn to God like David.
Verse 3, My heart was set to exalt the Lord before all. I will give thanks to you among all the peoples, and I will praise you among all the nations; I will exalt you before all nations, all nations, and all people. I made a decision like that. We must testify of Jesus who saved us and healed us. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us, and the greatest of the various purposes and reasons for the Holy Spirit is to testify of Jesus. That is why I am telling you to become my witnesses to the ends of the earth when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. We must become those who preach the gospel in front of everyone, and those who exalt and testify to Jesus.
Verse 4, it was decided in my heart that God is higher than the heavens. The sky is the first heaven, the SKY (heaven) in the cosmic space where people live, the second heaven, the heaven of the gods where angels live, the heaven of the heavens Paul spoke of (2 Corinthians 12:2), the third heaven (ο
