Title: Let's Preach / Mark 16:14-18
Contents Let us also tell you: April 25, 1998.
Text: Mark 16:14-18
14 Afterward, while the eleven were eating, Jesus appeared to them and rebuked them for their lack of faith and their dull heart. Because they did not believe the words of those who saw him alive. 15 And Jesus said to them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, and whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 These signs will follow those who believe, They cast out demons, they speak with new tongues, 18 they pick up serpents with their hands, and if they drink poison, they will never harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick and they will be healed.
What day is next week? (It's a friend's party.) Raise the hand of a child who has a friend to bring next week. A child who does not have a friend to bring is praying earnestly this week, praying for one person to evangelize. So, my friends, today is a birthday party, right? Answer among your friends who have birthdays in March. What gift did you get? So, what gift would you most like to receive? What gifts have our friends tried? When you took the gift, was your friend happy? Do you get angry when you see that you are not very happy when you receive a carefully prepared gift? We are very, very sad when we do not understand the heart of the gift-giving.
But, looking at today's words, Jesus is very, very sad. Shall we all read verse 14 together? Jesus gave us his most precious life as a gift, and the risen Jesus gave salvation as a gift to us who believe in the resurrection. You don't know the heart of Jesus. Jesus was so upset that he rebuked his disciples.
Do my friends believe in this Jesus who died for me and rose again the third day? If you read these words of the Bible written by the disciples who met the risen Jesus and do not believe, how much will Jesus' heart be broken? Those who believe in this fact and are baptized will be saved, but those who do not believe will go to hell as the price of their sins. Do our friends believe in this Jesus who died and rose again for our sins? Only those who believe can be saved. No matter how young you are, even if you go to church until you die, those who do not believe in this fact cannot be saved.
Let's all read 15-6 together. First, our friends must first receive salvation, the greatest gift God has given us. And we must share this gospel, the most precious gift, to those closest to us and those we love the most. I have to tell my loved ones first and then to me and my close friends first. What day is next week? (Friend invitation feast). The greatest gift we can give our friends is to let them meet Jesus. To do that, I must bring my friends to church. This is what pleases God the most. There will be fun quizzes and delicious food on that day. There will be a pretty gift for your new friends. And, God prepared a good gift for the friends who evangelized them. I will give 20 talents to the children who evangelized this one friend. What day is the talent market? It's June 28th. I hope that our friends will work hard to collect their talents so that they can buy many gifts for their family and friends, and buy many things they need.
Prayer: Jesus, who gave us the most precious gift, let us become children who, like Jesus, give the most precious gift, Jesus, to our friends. So, I want to become a child loved by Jesus.
look forward to
