Title: Let's Reduce Mistakes/James 3:2
Let's reduce the number of mistakes in content/James 3:2
We all make many mistakes, and if anyone makes no mistakes in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle even his whole body (James 3:2)
There are many mistakes in what we say. If you can't speak, you're a perfect person. However, because horses have great power, if you can control them, you can control your entire life.
We must be able to speak wisely without hurting our words. So, what should be the attitude of a believer in the word?
First, you have to tame your tongue.
When words change, fate changes. If you change your words, you can also develop your personality. As you say, character is formed. You can change your personality by correcting your proud, dirty, and evil words.
A father collapsed and was unconscious. There were two sons, and no matter how much the eldest shook his father to wake him up, he was unconscious, so he sent his younger brother to the doctor. Even after time passed, the younger brother did not return, and the older brother, who was nervous, said to himself, "Hell, this guy is dead, he's alive!" I muttered. There is a story that his father, who suddenly regained consciousness just in time, was shocked by these words and died.
Second, let's just say something useful.
In Numbers 14:28, God said, "As your words have reached my ears, I will do to you." You said it would do as you said. Even our words, which resemble the image of God, have amazing creative and transforming power.
When I was young, I had a troublemaker that frowned upon the locals. "What will that child be when he grows up?" Everyone shook their heads. But his grandmother was different. stroking his mischievous grandson's hair, he said, "You're a good talker and you have a talent for attracting people, and as long as you use your personality, you'll become great." That one word changed a child's life. He was the Rev. Billy Graham, a world-renowned revivalist.
The reason we couldn't live like that in the past has a reason in our words. “I’m going to die of hunger, I’m going to die of fullness, okay, I’m going to die.” So I just had to die.
Professor Lee Ee-ryeong said, "Have fun" as her mother blows her nose to the children with nosebleeds, explaining why they are living so well. It is said that Korea prospered by saying a lot.
May we all become people of grace with useful words.
Prayer: Heavenly Father! Help me to make fewer mistakes and to speak only words that benefit everyone. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
