Title: Let's Restore the Emotion of Worship

Let's restore the emotion of worship (2 Samuel 6:1-19)
Through the characters in today's text, we can see that whether we receive blessings or curses depends on how we serve God, that is, how we worship.
First, the Assumption of the Cursed Abinadab
The men of Kiriath-Jearim took the ark of God sent by the Philistines to Abinadab's house, and they specifically appointed Eleazar son of Abinadab to keep the ark of God. So, for about 70 years until the time of David, Eliasar and his two sons, Uzzah and Ahio, kept the ark of God in their house and took care of it. The problem is that they did not have the qualifications to serve the ark of God, but they also did not know how to serve the ark, that is, manners, manners, and manners. When King David came and said that he would take the ark of God, he just let the oxen load the ark on the new wagon that King David had prepared. I touched it. So instead of a blessing, a curse came. Although they have served God for more than 70 years, they have received a curse instead of a blessing.
Second, the blessed family of Obed-edom
This man is said to be a descendant of Kohath among the Levites. He has the knowledge of God's Word on how to carry the ark of the Lord. And when King David and all the people were afraid to take the ark of the LORD, he boldly carried it to his house with joy on his shoulders. Obed-edom did not simply serve as the storage and guard of the ark of the Lord, like the descendants of Abinadab. He served and worshiped and worshiped the living God with all sincerity. He served Jehovah with all his heart without missing out on the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of blessing. The Lord blessed this house of Obed-edom and all that he had.
Third, the cursed Michal
All the people of Israel and King David were thrilled to hear that the Ark of the Lord was being brought to the City of David in Jerusalem for the first time in 70 years. It was Michal, Saul's daughter. All the people should praise God, give thanks, and offer sacrifices together, but they just watch from afar. King David not only watched, but instead took off his robe and put on a linen ephod and humbly danced in front of the Lord God and praised King David. The Bible records that Saul's daughter, Michal, became childless after that.
Fourth, Blessed David
King David prepared 30,000 people to bring the ark of God, organized an instrumental troupe as the royal musicians, and mobilized a choir to praise God and serve the ark of God. Although he was spiritually depressed for a while because of his spiritual ignorance, bringing the ark of God on a new cart, and because of the incident of Uzzah's instant death, he immediately reassured himself to bring the ark of the Lord boldly with his faith in the Lord God, the blessing. You can see what you try. David made sacrifices to the Lord God with all his heart and offered burnt offerings of oxen and fattened cattle. Moreover, David took off his robe and put on the linen ephod worn by the priests, and humbly danced before the Lord with all his body and all his soul and with all his might. King David, who worshiped with such devotion, God was with him with a wonderful blessing, and he reigned over the united Israel for about 33 years. He also allowed his descendants to continue the throne, eventually sending Jesus Christ as the descendant of King David.
Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that you too, like David, long for God's blessings and devote your time and money to God to worship Him sincerely. I hope that you will worship and praise God by dancing and have beautiful fellowship among the saints. If you do, I believe that God will be with you with great and wonderful blessings.
