Title: Let's Think Again Children. Text: Genesis 22:1-19

There are unhealthy families around us. There is a sad family. Before asking who is responsible for these problems, one thing is clear: our sons and daughters have the right to grow up happily. In any case, you should grow up happy, healthy and free. But we must not forget that happiness does not come without effort; happiness is created. The Bible tells parents to do this to their children. Ephesians 6:4 “And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the instruction and admonition of the Lord.”

Don't anger your children. To not offend means not to offend. Instead, he told them to nurture them with the word of God. The word “discipline” here means “training, discipline”.

1. Children are not the result of marriage, but a blessing from God.

In today's text, Abraham was married for many years. How anxiously did this couple wait for their child? If you didn't give birth on purpose, how long would you have waited? We realize one important thing through these words. It is a fact that ‘marriage is a human thing, but children are given by God regardless of marriage’. Of course, that's not to say that even if you're not married. David confessed this: Psalm 36:7-9 “Truly you are the fountain of life, and in your light we will see light.” It is the belief that the source of life is strictly in God. Isaiah 44:2 Life is a gift from God. Therefore, it is valuable. Whether it is my own birth or someone else's, life is God-given, so I must not do it my own way. I can't kill myself, I can't kill myself

2. Our children are the children of the promise.

3. We must raise our children to be exemplary.

Genesis 22:9 Everyone! Because the father Abraham was his own business, he could believe that he was able to do this by faith because God directly spoke to Abraham, but Isaac is different. The father and the self are between the parent and the child, but the son is the son. But his father bound Isaac, put it on the altar, and raised his sword to strike him, but Isaac silently obeyed. How can this be? What made this possible was that Isaac trusted his father. Because he was sure how much his father loved him and that he would not harm him. This is because father Abraham had a good relationship with his son Isaac, a relationship of faith, and a relationship of total trust. Without this trust, Isaac might have rebelled and rebelled against his father's actions. We must examine ourselves through these words. We need to see if our children really have a relationship that is good enough to trust me completely and if they can trust me even if I want to kill my son.
