Title: Let's Win/Rev 3:20-22
Contents I will introduce a story that actually happened in a certain Bible study.
I was having a small group Bible study with a pastor and two male deacons.
Suddenly, the pastor asked a question.
Butler Kim said that if he fights with his wife at home, does he lose or win? But Butler Kim confidently said that of course he would win.
Hearing this, the pastor said: Yes, I have to win, I always win at home.
Hearing this, the pastor replies.
Butler, to lose is to win, he replied.
Saints!
Our church set the goal of 1994 as a church full of happiness, a home, and a self.
In order to do that, we must win the battle against the evil devil in the church, at home, and in our self.
In the end, the turmoil of the church has the work of the devil in it. Discord in the family also has the work of the devil in it, and the confusion of the self also has the work of the devil in it.
Therefore, in order to become a church full of happiness, a family, and ourselves, we must win the battle against the evil devil.
When there is a schism in the church, a discord in a family, or a disorganized self, we must be able to stand against such a total attack of the evil devil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
So the Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 6:10-12.
"10 In the end, that you may be strengthened in the Lord and by the power of his might, 11 put on the full armor of God that you may be able to resist the wiles of the devil. 12 Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers against the rulers of the world of darkness and against the spirits of evil in the heavens."
And while saying these words, he teaches you how to arm yourself in detail just like a soldier going to war.
Because the strife, strife, and instability that occur between us and our surroundings are the tricks of the evil devil.
So, what should we do to win this battle?
1. We must have a firm belief that our spiritual warfare must be won and the belief that follows.
We Christians should not show the image of a weak loser.
We are winners.
This is because Jesus, our Lord, is the victor over negative forces, sin and death.
Jesus Christ came to this earth to show his love for us.
Jesus Christ's death on the cross paid for our sins and transgressions.
It represents the triumph of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we are living a life in which certain victory is guaranteed through faith in Jesus Christ.
Ex) Normandy Landing Operation - We are fighting a war that has already been won.
But why do we have to say "I'm going to die every day" through our mouths so often? There is a saying in our country that tells you not to even look at a tree that you can't climb?
You have to look at the tree you can't climb. So you have to be able to enjoy it in your heart.
And you have to actually go up.
It went up as high as it went up. And that experience can be accumulated so that you can go higher next time.
Why should we lose the war we won because of our weak faith? This is a contradiction among contradictions.
I hope that you will deeply imprint the firm belief that we will win in all fields this year and the belief that comes with it.
2. We must be zealous (the winner must be zealous). Christians must be zealous.
No one who is lazy, cynical, or perverse can join the ranks of victory.
The president of a certain university said the following:
“There are three types of people in this world. The first are those who live without even knowing what is happening, the second are those who only watch what is happening, and the last are those who do something.”
Female 1Q !
What kind of person are you?
Those who win are those who work hard and live creatively.
Only such people can win.
There are rules when it comes to making people work.
Don't let people who have a lot of spare time work.
It's about letting someone who is too busy to have time to work.
Because those who have time to spare are lazy, and no matter how hard they work, they will still be idle.
But busy people are really good at using their time. That's why I take the time to do my job well. Such a person is a person who lives a victorious life.
3. We must not be afraid to interfere in order to win.
Winners always have obstacles. There are many who are jealous and jealous.
And there are also negative critics.
But the victor doesn't care at all.
Therefore, we live our lives honestly and earnestly before God in our own way, but strangely, if there are many people around us who are slandering, criticizing, jealous, and jealous of me, there is no need for us to hesitate because of that.
It wouldn't be too much of an exaggeration to think that something was going well on my own. How many crowds slandered and persecuted Jesus during his public life?
Winners always have negative forces.
Where there is an action, there is always a reaction.
We shouldn't be afraid of these negative reactions.
We will be able to achieve victory when we move forward boldly without fear.
Just like the old boy David, who trusted only God's strength, boldly went to the giant Dahliath and won.
4. In order to win, we must get the help of the original winner.
Who is the original winner?
Through the words of Philippians 2:6-11, we can know the original winner.
"6 Although he was in the form of God in the beginning, he did not consider equality with God to be robbery, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human form, 8 and being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to death, that 9 For this reason God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and at the name of every mouth give Jesus Christ. and confessed to the glory of God the Father.
Please believe that only Jesus Christ is the source of victory.
And I hope you believe that we too can be victorious through that Jesus Christ.
We cannot win on our own.
When we are supplied with the power of the Lord and live in peace, truth, humility, and purity, the final victory will be given to us.
Philippians 4:12-13
“12 I know how to be in need, and I know how to abound. I have learned the secret to be satisfied in all things, and to be satisfied with hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
5. In conclusion, we must know what the price of victory is.
Revelation 2:7 (Ephesians Church)
To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God Revelation 2:11 (Smyrna Church)
He who overcomes will not be harmed by the second death.
2:17 (Pergamum Church)
To the one who overcomes, I will give the hidden manna and I will give a white stone, with a new name written on the stone, which no one knows except the one who receives it. Rev 2:26 (Thyatira Church),
I will give authority over the nations to the one who overcomes and keeps my works to the end Revelation 3:5 (Sardis Church)
He who overcomes will likewise be clothed in white robes, and I will confess his name in the book of life before my Father and before his angels.
Revelation 3:12 (Philadelphia)
The one who overcomes will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go out again. 21 (Laodicea Church)
To him who overcomes, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sit with my father on my throne.
We are promising a great and wonderful reward to those who are consistently victorious in the church.
Dear saints,
What kind of year should we be in 1994?
I bless you in the name of the Lord that you receive the blessing of happiness in this world and the blessing of honor in the next life through victory.
