Title: Let's Worship

Seongkyung says:

“Therefore, brethren, I beseech you by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” (Romans 12:1).

“Worship the Lord in the beautiful and holy things; tremble before him, all the earth” (Psalm 96:9).

Therefore, it is right for us as believers to worship God.

"The chapel is more honorable to me than the Prime Minister's seat of the British Empire," said Gladstone, who was once the British Prime Minister. We must teach the whole family that the place of worship is more precious than any other place. A family with an honorable place of worship is truly a good family. Those who honor worship are destined to be honored by God. Because God delights in worship and He is willing to receive it.

It is repeatedly recorded that Abraham, the father of faith, “built an altar and called on the name of the Lord” wherever he went. The reason Abraham was about to offer his only son Isaac on Mount Moriah was because he considered the sacrifice to God the most important. Because the sacrifices in the Old Testament era are worship in the New Testament era, it shows that worship should be treated as precious as this. At that time, God was moved and said, “Now I know that you fear me,” and he blessed his children and grandchildren.

Seeing Solomon offering a thousand burnt offerings with all his heart, God was moved and he appeared in a dream and said, “What shall I do for you?” He gave not only wisdom, but also the corridors of wealth, longevity, and strong military power. In a word, this is a blessing that I received through good worship. If you fail in your worship life, you will be a failure in everything, and if a Christian wins in your worship life, you will be victorious in everything. If a member neglects worship and begins to move away from the church, he or she can temporarily make good money without any problem, and even though everything seems to be going well, eventually, you can see that you are destroyed both physically and mentally.

Teachers in the world deeply understand their thoughts and teachings and seek disciples who will carry on their will. Then, what kind of person is God looking for? God is looking for those who worship Him. Because he expects his people to live in the truth. Worship must be offered in spirit and truth. Worshiping in spirit means worshiping in a new realm that God is revealing to His people. To truly worship means to worship God through Jesus. We can come to God only through the merits of the blood of Jesus on the cross. There are many people who say they are Christians and go to church to worship. But how many of them worship in spirit and in truth? It is truly a time for renewal of worship. The renewal of worship cannot be achieved unless the worshiper is thoroughly renewed. Reflect on your worship attitude. And I hope you receive the grace of meeting the living God through true worship.

* Prayer: God who delights in true worship, help me to live a life worthy of perfect worship and live a successful life in worship. Help us to meet God through worship and to exalt His name through deeper devotion. Let worship truly become my joy and meaning, and allow me to always stand before God with determination and newness. May we offer true worship that the Lord is pleased with. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
