Title: Let God's Law Become Common Sense

Philippians 4:8-9 ‘8. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are godly, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are praiseworthy, if there be any virtue, if there is any praise, think of these things. Do what you learn, receive, hear, and see, and the God of peace will be with you' - Amen.

Confession of faith is important (Romans 10:9-10), but it is a practical matter of how you will live your life in the world as a person who has obtained eternal salvation. Morality is a personal part of life's attitude, but not the whole of life.
Protestant theology is rather ideological, so I feel that there is a lack of research on its application to real life. We want to see how the New Testament tells us to live. We will share the sermon on the topic of “Let God’s law become common sense.”

1. Christianity (God) is a cultural participatory religion
.

Philippians 4:8, “Whatever things are true, whatever things are godly, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are praiseworthy, if there is any virtue, if there is any praise, think about these things.”
Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
In Romans 13: there is also a lesson on the guidance of rulers and about taxes.

2. If you repent of your sins and go to heaven, you will prosper.
.
If you believe in Jesus, you should be saved and do well, but in the cultural aspect, you can prosper even in the world of unbelief.

Proverbs 21:4 ‘.. All that the wicked prosper is sin’, Proverbs 23:17 ‘Do not envy the prosperity of sinners in your heart, but fear the Lord always’. But the end of that prosperity will lead to destruction, so do not be envious.

1) Repentance is preparation for heaven and prosperity
.
Proverbs 28:13 “He who confesses and forsakes his sins will find mercy.”
John 15:2 “.. every branch that bears fruit purifies it so that it may bear more fruit”
.
2) Cheosul, which has heaven as its vision, enriches cultural life
.
As a Christian, the Lord has given us a way to meet our cultural needs.
Matthew 6:33 “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
.
3) The realization of the kingdom of heaven is to live according to the word of truth
.
When God's truth is put into practice in our lives, there is God's rule and history takes place.
Deuteronomy 29:9 "...Keep and do the words of this covenant, and everything you do will prosper" (Psalm 1:3)

Faith is passing down what the ancestors believed and followed.
Joshua 1:7 “But be strong and very courageous, and observe and do all the law that Moses my servant commanded you; do not turn to the right or to the left, so that you may prosper wherever you go.”

The culture of the times is rich, but the reality is a very difficult society. In times like these, when the saints have a conflict between faith and reality, I want them to reconsider the situation God gives them and not be shaken.

Hebrews 13:5 "Do not love money, but be content with what you have, for he himself said, I will never forsake you nor forsake you."
I pray that you and I will be victorious through faith.
