Title: Let No One Love Yourself!
Jesus tells his disciples, “Do not love yourself.” To the disciples hearing this for the first time, Jesus' words must have sounded absurd. You are the one who has supported you until now, but how absurd would you be when you now say, “Don’t love yourself”? But what Jesus meant was that to love oneself is to love evil. However, the disciples at that time would not have easily understood this statement.
When Jesus said to his disciples, “Do not love yourself,” he was telling them to forsake themselves. Why should you give yourself up? It is because of the sin that Adam, the ancestor of mankind, committed by disobeying the Word of God. This is because if you do not forsake yourself, the sins of Adam will continue to follow you. The word to forsake yourself is also to believe in the Son. It means to forsake yourself and believe in your son.
The same is true today.
Today, all Christians all over the world who believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit and live under the spiritual law must forsake themselves in order to enter eternal life. If you do not forsake yourself, you will not be able to believe in the Son God will send you in the future. If you do not believe in the Son, eventually your sins of violating the spiritual law (the Holy Spirit) will not be forgiven and you will not be able to enter eternal life. If you cannot forsake yourself, you will eventually fall in love with evil.
Many Christians today have received the Holy Spirit and “believe that everyone has been born again into Christ.” But let me be clear, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father (see Matthew 10:20). Therefore, no one can be born again by the Holy Spirit that Gentiles have received by believing in Jesus. This is the same reason that the people of Israel could not be born again by the law. The Holy Spirit illuminates the dark hearts of the Gentiles who believe, and acts as a tutor (law) to guide them to the Son whom God will send in the future.
If the Gentiles were the grain born again by the Holy Spirit, the world would have come to an end already. For after God's last sending His Son to gather the wheat into barns before the believing people, the world must be set on fire to burn the weeds. However, seeing that the world has not yet come to an end, we can see that God has not yet sent His Son to the Gentiles.
If Christians were truly born-again Christians, the church today would not have gone so horribly humanistic. No matter what denomination or church you go to, there is no Jesus, and only human thoughts and human learning are taking over, you will be feeling more deeply with your skin. The Son of God does not teach people with human thoughts or human learning. The Son of God, as always, is the One who only finds out the sins of violating God's law, makes them confess them, and then solves their sins.
If all Christians today are born again of Christ, they must never love themselves. But there is not a single believer today who does not love himself. To be born again into Christ means that your old self is dead. But saying that you still love yourself is the result of acknowledging that many people have not been born again into Christ. As mentioned above, no matter how full of the Holy Spirit, Gentiles will never be born again by the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit is not the Spirit of Christ.
And if you want to throw away your old self, you need someone to take care of you. However, to throw yourself away when no one is taking responsibility for you is only suicide by taking your own life in the end. Jesus tells his followers to forsake himself only. This is a promise that Jesus will surely take responsibility for the disciples who follow him.
This promise is not for anyone. It is a promise made only to those who always believe in and follow the Son. In the future, when the Son of God comes before the Gentiles, the Son will also say these words to those who believe in him and want to follow him. But these words do not apply to those who do not believe in the Son. If a person who does not believe in the Son lays down his life believing that God will take care of him, this is nothing but death of a dog that no one takes responsibility for.
Muslims who believe in Allah put explosives directly on their bodies against political groups that oppose their religion, enter and commit suicide with them. They believe that when they die, Allah will take them to heaven. But this is just stupid dog death. No matter how much someone criticizes you and points your finger at you, the judgment rests with God. However, they kill the enemy themselves. They still believe that when they die, Allah will take them to heaven. If such a dwelling place of Allah, it would not be heaven.
As a similar example, many people today say, “I thought that I would definitely go to heaven when I die because I attended church while I was alive.” But let me be clear, no one can enter eternal life in heaven unless their sins committed on this earth are forgiven. Today's Christians are not able to solve their own crimes by calling on God's name or calling on the name of Jesus, who came to the land of Israel.
The fleshly people who lived under the law must believe in Jesus, who came as the fulfillment of the law, to be cured of their sins of violating the law. You can be freed from the sin of breaking the law. Without it, no one can see the Lord, and if they don't see the Lord, eventually the Father cannot see either. The saying goes that no one can enter the kingdom of the Father except through the Son.
Christians today have come to know through the Holy Spirit that God is a living being. However, many people only knew that God is alive, but no one has ever met God directly. In order to meet God, we must have a son sent by God. Because no one can see the Father except through the Son.
Many people today will ask, did we not go through a son because we called on the name of Jesus who came to the land of Israel? But, ironically, Jesus, who came to the land of Israel, is the only name that the Israelites can call when they come before God. Christians can come before God only through the spiritual Son who is always sent to the Gentiles.
Many people today are calling God as their Father through the Holy Spirit. We can also call Narat-nim as our Father. But whether the king recognizes me as his son is entirely up to him. The same is true of our relationship with God. God is saying that only those who come through His Son will be recognized as sons. He sends the Spirit of adoption to those who believe in the Son. But those who do not believe in the Son do not have the spirit of adoption, so the Father will never accept such people as His sons.
“When the king came in to see his hand, he saw a man there who was not wearing a robe, and said, “Friend, why did you come in here without a robe?” The king spoke to his servants, saying, “Tie his hands and feet in the darkness outside. Throw it out, and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 22:11-13) - Those who have ears, please hear and understand-
