Title: Let the Little Children Come

Contents

let the little ones come

Matthew 19:13-15

As parents today, we have concerns, but the Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 6:4, “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.”

When we raise and nurture our children according to the principles God has given us, we will certainly be able to raise them correctly.

If you look at the world's great people, they were generally those who accepted Jesus when they were young.

Mr. Poro said, "With the exception of one of the 23 most prominent saints in the world, all the others entered the religious life before the age of 18."

Livingston went to the black land of Africa at the age of 23 and devoted himself to missionary work and saving the people. Calvin embarked on the Reformation at the age of 26 when he published a great book called “Christian Compulsion”.

Therefore, children and young people are like a blank sheet of paper, they accept any color well.

All the great leaders in the world were converted when they were young and became great workers.

So, through this morning's text, I think we should have a correct view of children by looking at the three attitudes we have towards children.

. This is the attitude of parents who bring their little ones to Jesus (verse 13).

Parents brought their children to Jesus in hopes of receiving the laying on of hands. For what purpose did parents bring their children to Jesus? I came here hoping that my children would do well.

They wanted Jesus to put his hands on the heads of his children and pray for them.

This is because I was convinced that if Jesus, the King of kings, touched my child just once, he would surely live a wonderful life in blessings for the rest of his life.

With that desire, they brought their children to Jesus.

In our hearts, we desperately want our children to grow up to be as wonderful as others.

Then we too must bring our children to Jesus.

You have to bring them to church. Here's the great thing about parents in today's text. It was brought to Jesus. we must imitate

Dear brothers and sisters, if you think that Jesus Christ is important to you and that you are absolutely essential to me, then I must not come to Jesus alone.

We must hold our precious children hand in hand and come to Jesus together. That's loving your children. You don't have to go to church today, so you shouldn't tell them to do homework and study for the exam.

Sunday is the Lord's Day. Children need to rest too. You need to bring them out so that they can worship God.

Ladies and gentlemen, 75% of Korean church members are from Sunday School.

It is said that 85% of the officers are from Sunday School. Furthermore, 95% of the clergy are from Sunday School. I am from Sunday School.

Dear brothers and sisters, I hope you will pray with earnest desire to bring our children to Jesus, just like the parents in today's text.

If you can't bring it out today, please bring it with you next week and bring your parents with you.

. These are the disciples who rebuke the children who come to Jesus (verse 13).

Verse 13 says, “The disciples rebuked them.” In short, the disciples were bothered by little children. I didn't value it. Still, there are a lot of people, but they even bring their children and bother them. Of course, to some extent we can understand the feelings of the disciples.

It's about how hard Jesus is and what he will do if he brings him and bothers him.

But Jesus was displeased with the disciples' such attitude. rebuked.

I don't know if we don't make the same mistake.

If you have family worship or district worship, all the children have to pray together, but the children are locked up in the room. Of course, it can be because it is noisy and noisy.

But Jesus accepted.

When a lot of children come to the church, the property of the church is damaged and the building becomes dirty.

That's not to say that kids shouldn't come. When a church is overflowing with children, there is hope for that church and for the country as well.

And “you have to grow in love.” The master of true love is Jesus.

Jesus gave His life for us.

We can eat love only when we bring our children to Jesus.

But the disciples rebuked them. Why did you bring it? And don't talk about it.

Proverbs 14:4 says, “Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean, but the strength of the ox is much.” A child may be quiet and undefiled, but the house is hopeless. The church has no hope. There is no crying in the countryside now. That's why the country forces you to give birth.

The church should be full of children and noisy. That's how you feel to live.

I felt that living as a human being is the noise and noise of the children, and that it is the life of a human being.

I hope that the children in the church will tolerate even some mistakes and lead them with love.

Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are like little children.

three. It is Jesus who blesses little children (verse 15).

He said, “He laid his hands on them and departed from there.”

The disciples looked down on little children, but Jesus valued them very much. That's why verse 14 says, "Let the little children come and do not forbid them to come to me." And blessed him.

Now, adults are standing around Jesus. Of course, each adult is important.

However, children are just as important as adults.

Also, Jesus is on his way up to Jerusalem to carry the cross. Of course, the ministry of bearing the cross is important, but accepting children is just as important.

Children are so important, but we don't seem to value them that much.

No matter how tired I am and how hard I am, when my children come to me because they need me, I need to stop doing what they are doing and be a warm welcome to them.

But many times that is not the case. I do too a lot of the time.

But, pointing to the little child, Jesus said, “For such is the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus described a child as a model of a citizen of heaven.

Adults have something to learn from children.

Adults must learn the naive and innocence of children. And I hope that you will become parents who can pray with a warm heart for their children.

Conclusion Dear Saints

All parents want their children to do well.

But our abilities are limited. I cannot raise my children right away on my own.

We must entrust our children to God while praying for our children from an early age.

When we entrust ourselves to God, God takes responsibility for our children and takes over all of their lives.

In a family there was a father who was devout.

Unfortunately, he died of cancer.

He wrote twenty-one letters to his 10-year-old son at a time when his life was in jeopardy.

In his spare time, he wrote a letter thinking about his son. And he asked his wife to do this.

“Honey, when I die, I want you to put a stamp on this letter and give it to my son a headache every year.” My son is now 10 years old, so until he turns 20, he wrote a letter of headache every year from his father, even if he was absent for 10 years. It grows as you receive it. And then he said this:

“I hope you will send this last letter so that it can reach his son the day before his wedding day.”

In that letter was written:

“Dear son, you are getting married tomorrow! Now that you have an independent family, I can't do anything about you anymore. But from now on, may God bless your family. I pray that God, who is the Good Shepherd, will be the leader of your family.

As it has been so far, I truly want to dedicate your new home to God.

So now, as I raise the precious children God has given you, I pray that you will bless your children as I have blessed you. That

After that, let's see each other happily again in heaven."

Dear saints, I sincerely hope that this Father's heart will become our heart and that God's blessings will come to our children.
