Waste is a complete waste that can't even expect a productive result, that is, a useless waste of something valuable. In the eyes of the disciples, the woman did something worthless. So I criticized it.
But Jesus rebukes the disciples, saying, “Why are you tormenting this woman?” Jesus says that the woman anointed her with perfume for her burial. According to Jesus' assessment, the woman did the most solemn thing. It was the highest homage to the life of Jesus. Jesus gave the highest meaning to her actions.
The blessing of verse 13 is overwhelming. “I tell you the truth, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told in remembrance of her.” ‘Truly’ is a declaration that Jesus’ words will surely come true. In Matthew 24:14, it is said that the end will come when the gospel of the kingdom is preached throughout the world. So it means that this woman's work will never be forgotten until the end. This woman will be remembered for as long as the world exists. Isn't that surprising?
Who has received such a great blessing? She is blessed by making the most effective use of the opportunities given to her. It was the best opportunity of her life. It was a blessing that no one could have imagined. We too must do our best when given the opportunity. Because it may be the best opportunity of your life.

You must also commit to a level that people around you would say is wasted. Because it may be the best opportunity of your life.
