Title: Life After Salvation/Acts 2:37-47
It is a gracious and hopeful Sunday morning. Thank you for coming to worship with us before the throne of God, who is the source of all blessings. Today's words are very appropriate for those who want to start a church life with a new determination. In Acts 2:37-41, many people who heard the word of God repent and come to Christ to be saved.
Verses 42-47 that follow are the changed lives of those who have been saved. If you look at their lives, you can see what kind of life the saved ones lived. They quickly formed the Christian community, the church. What kind of life did they lead to lead such a successful life? Let's learn their lives and live a victorious life too.
Characteristics of the life of the saved
1. The life of learning Christ (42)
"Accept the Apostle's Teachings"
1) I learned the Word of God and Christ.
2) They obeyed the authority of the apostles and followed their guidance.
- The religious life must obey the authority of the spiritual leader.
- It is important to learn the Word and live a life of obedience to the Word.
2. A life of fellowship (42)
"Communing with one another and breaking bread"
1) Meaning of fellowship (koinonia)
- Sharing material and helping each other
- Serving and serving one another with spiritual gifts
- Comforting the lonely, forgiving and forgiving sinners
- Sharing joy and sorrow
2) Breaking bread is suitable for socializing.
3. A life devoted to prayer (42)
“I made every effort to pray.”
- Pray intensively.
- Unite together and pray with one mind.
4. A life of materially serving the church community (44-45)

"Every day, we strive to gather together in the temple with one accord, praising God."
1) Worship is the basis of life of faith.
- Passion for worship determines the life of faith.
2) We tried to get together.
- The church is the body of Christ. When the members come together, there is strength and abundance.
- When we gather like a fire, grace overflows and heats up.
- It is worth gathering in the midst of busyness. Saying you can't gather because you're busy is an excuse.
(Hebrews 10:25) “Let us not forsake assembling as is the habit of some, but exhort us, and all the more as we see the day drawing near.”
Satan's Strategy:
- Avoid gathering as much as possible.
- Weaken, fall into temptation, and live according to the flesh.
3) Lived in praise.
- He praised God for giving him a new life.
- Praise brings spiritual victory, and joy springs from praise.
- When you praise, the devil retreats and your worries and worries disappear.
