Title: Life Belt
Contents
Subject: Life Belt. Ephesians 4:1-3
Life is the most important thing for all beings. All values are formed on the basis of life. God made human flesh out of dust, not gold, silver, and precious stones.
He made man out of the most common and lowly earth. Therefore, if we look only at the flesh, as the apostle Paul said, there is nothing in the flesh to boast.
Man became the most precious creature through the meeting of the lowest dust and the most precious breath of God. The preciousness of a person is because of life.
We often read the slogan "seat belt" on the main roadside. Now, everyone wears a seat belt when getting into a car or when flying or landing.
These seat belts are really uncomfortable and cumbersome. Because the body is tightly tightened, the shoulder may become limp if worn for a long time. Still, people are eager to fasten their seat belts.
Of course, it's not because I'm afraid of fines. The seat belt works in reverse by keeping the passenger in close contact with the seat and safely holding it in case of a sudden shock or severe shaking.
However, if the cord is loosened due to inconvenience, or if the principle is not followed, it will serve no purpose in the event of an unexpected accident.
This is also the case with our religious life. In our daily life, there are times when we feel uncomfortable and frustrated with the issue of faith.
However, if I were not a Christian, I would have been able to enjoy more wonderful and fun pleasures, but if I were not a Christian, I would have made a greater profit.
Human beings, regardless of who they are, want to overcome their circumstances and live a successful life. No one wants his life to end in defeat because he is weak.
However, if we are to live successfully, we must not rely solely on our own efforts. In order to overcome various difficult environments and conditions that stand in our way,
I need a power other than my own. The famous Russian writer Tolstoy was originally from an aristocratic family, and he lived with all kinds of wealth and fame, but he was not satisfied.
He received applause from many people through his work, but he could not do anything with his fear and anxiety about sin.
Then one day, while walking down a quiet country road, he met a farmer and found that there was an unusually peaceful expression on his face.
He went to the farmer and asked what the secret to a peaceful life was. Then, because the farmer lives dependent on God, my heart is always happy.”
Hearing this, Tolstoy began earnestly seeking God from that day. After that, he finally met God, and the anxiety and fear of the past disappeared.
He came to confess, “Knowing God is the way to live.” No matter how successful you seem in this world
Fundamentally, if a relationship with God is not established, he is still insecure. The reason is that when our relationship with God is broken,
Because there is no real meaning to be found in anything. Therefore, no problem in life can be solved until the problem of faith is solved.
Just as the seat belt of a car protects life from an unexpected accident, it is because the seat belt of faith is firmly fastened to be safe from a desperate event or a terrible test.
God's seat belt is the safest. Fasten the seat belt of faith like a thorn in the flesh.
The Lord will protect you from all accidents and dangers. Fasten your seat belts for Sunday worship Securely fasten your seat belts for prayer (1)
May we fasten our seat belts of faith even tighter in all our lives! This is the Eternal Life Belt.
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3). The habit of giving up is the foundation of peace. Faith calms us by giving up.
Peace is not something we find in our environment. Peace is only in Jesus Christ. Peace can only be enjoyed in a relationship with one person.
Faith allows us to get along without the luck we once cherished. When our hearts are satisfied without external blessings, that is the truest happiness we can enjoy.
There is rest. The real owner of a painting is not the person who paid for the painting, but the person who is deeply moved by the painting.
Beloved, I hope that from now on, you will be able to fasten your seat belt of faith and live a victorious life.
