Title: Life in God's Economy (Jeremiah 01:5)
Content There is something in human life that is driven by a certain desire. Human life is a conscious and unconscious effort to cherish various desires and to make them come true. But it's also life that doesn't go your way. However, when we think about it carefully, there is the joy of life where things don't go our way. If the things that people think of happen according to their will, on the contrary, great changes will occur. Because if you look for the triggers of our hopes and plans, there are many very impure motives. We cannot see how selfish and arbitrary our wishes are. If the plan that started out of vanity, arrogance, and carnal greed comes true, life will become more and more chaotic with ugly contradictions and great errors. When we set our will and make plans, if we conform to God's will for temperance, patience, and purity, it will be solid. The plan of man's hopes and abominations will disappear, and God's eternal economy will be realized, where the true history of life will unfold. God always accomplishes His will through people.
1. He had a will to fulfill through Moses. Exodus 6:28-7:6 "On the day the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, I am the LORD, and what I say to you, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt. Come, how can Pharaoh listen to me? The LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I have made you a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother will be your prophet. I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and I will perform many signs and wonders in the land of Egypt. But because Pharaoh will not listen to you, I will put your hand on Egypt and bring many great plagues upon the people of my army. I will bring the children of Israel out of the land, and when I stretch out my hand over Egypt and bring the children of Israel out of the land, the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them.” said Moses did the most difficult will according to the word of God.
2. In Job's life, God also fulfilled God's will through him. Job 23:10-14 says, “But he knows the way I go; after he has tested me, I will come out like gold. My feet have followed his steps, I have kept his ways and not turned aside, and I have obeyed the commands of his lips. He did not break anything, and he valued the words of his mouth more than a certain meal. He has a definite purpose. Who can turn it? If his heart desires it, he does it; therefore, what he has decreed for me will be accomplished. said God fulfilled his will and revealed his glory through Job according to his decree.
3. Jeremiah also had a will that God wanted to accomplish through him. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born I set you apart, and I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah fulfilled his will even through great suffering.
4. God also had plans for James and John, the sons of Zebedee. The sons of Zebedee, James and John, wanted to be exalted. So they asked, "Give us to sit, one at your right hand and the other at your left, while you are in your glory." At this time, the Lord said, "You do not know what you are asking, are you able to drink the cup I drink, and be baptized with the baptism I receive?" James and John really did not know what to ask for. They despised others and respected only themselves, thought only of themselves without thinking of others, and wanted to push others away and sit on the throne of glory. But Jesus rebuked you if you could suffer the sufferings of the cross that I had to endure. Their empty thoughts and vain desires were shattered by Jesus' harsh words of love. So, after realizing what Jesus meant, they were faithful and led a holy life.
