Life is prepaid.
Matthew 6:33
(Mt 6:33)
Life is a blessed life when you have to pay in advance.
The three of them were driving, and a drunk driver picked up the car from behind. The car was completely crumpled and could not be repaired, so the car was scrapped. It was truly the grace of God to be injured that much in such a situation.
However, the treatment starts only after paying 700,000 won in advance. It was over 10 hours at night. Who has 700,000 won in their pocket? First of all, even if I persuaded him to pay for treatment, the director was already discharged and he could not break the rules of the hospital at will. When they gave me a card, they said that they only accept cash because there is no employee who pays by card at night. The man was now bleeding and losing his mind.
So, I got emergency treatment by calling him to bring money urgently. He was transferred to another hospital shortly after emergency treatment.
Every time I go to Icheon, I feel very bad when I see that hospital.
You have to pay first.
But this is the biblical view of life.
Life is prepaid.
Life is prepaid.
1. Prepaid hospitality.
Jesus said:
(Mt 7:12)
Life is prepaid.
You have to treat yourself first to be treated. You can see that for sure when you look at Jesus. Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. Jesus was the first in this world for a master to wipe a servant's feet.
Hospitality paid in advance. Later, the disciples did not all wipe the feet of Jesus, but gave their lives for him.
If you pay for the hospitality in advance, you will receive a stipend.
But it was a poor country town, so no one was willing to put a microphone on it. When I heard the sound, I couldn't bring myself to bring it. So, I went back to the church. Then I saved up a few months of money and prepared a microphone again.
And years have passed. The pastor went to America. When I went to America, I saw that there were so many good microphones. The pastor bought me a very good microphone and sent it to me.
And said.
Hospitality is prepaid.
Jesus told us.
(Mt 7:12)
Hospitality is prepaid. A prepaid life is blessed.
2. Reconciliation is an advance payment system.
Jesus said:
(Matthew 5:24)
Fireworks are also pre-paid.
If there is a discord, you should first reach out to reconciliation without accepting an apology. Reconciliation is an advance payment system. We must be reconciled to anyone. You must also be reconciled to God. Married couples should also be at peace. Reconciliation should also be made between the members of the church.
Reconciliation is the purpose for which Jesus came to this earth. The Garden of Eden, which God created in the beginning, was a garden of harmony. Everything was peaceful. But the devil came and broke the reconciliation.
1. The devil has taken away the reconciliation between God and man.
2. The devil has taken away the reconciliation between humans and humans.
3. They also took away the reconciliation between humans and nature.
4. They also took away the reconciliation between you and yourself.
But the Lord has commanded:
(2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
Jesus gave us two things.
(1) Words of reconciliation
(2) The position of reconciliation
Jesus commanded us all to be.
The kingdom of God that we will enter in the future is the kingdom of the ultimate in reconciliation.
(Isa 11:6-9)
That is why we must practice harmony here. Reconciliation is an advance payment system. When there is a conflict, you must first reach out your hand to reconcile. So Jesus told us.
(Matthew 5:24)
3. Sacrifice is prepaid.
If you pay the sacrifice in advance, God will pay you back. God is a God of justice who repays the person for what he sacrificed.
The Israelites entered Canaan through the wilderness. God promised to give the land to the Israelites. But when he came, he saw that the land was not empty, but 7 tribes. Then God told Joshua to go out and fight. Joshua asked God.
(Judges 1:1)
God answered.
So in every war, Judah took the lead. To say that he took the lead in every war means that he suffered the most. Judas made the most sacrifices. However, in conclusion, out of the 13 tribes, the tribe of Judah received the most blessings.
Life is prepaid.
God always remembers sacrifice.
The greatest sacrifice on earth is our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one who gave up his high throne in heaven and came to this earth and gave his life.
So God lifted Jesus, who made the greatest sacrifice, to the highest.
Hannah yes.
Hannah was an unhappy woman who had been barren for a long time. But he prayed like this.
God heard this prayer of sacrifice and gave him a son, Samuel. When I prayed for sacrifice, God answered me.
I paid the sacrifice in advance, and God gave it to me.
Life is prepaid.
There is one businessman butler that I know. He prayed to God like this.
And believing that it would be 1 million won, I gave tithes of 1 million won each in advance. After a while, he became a businessman who could pay tithes of 1 million won each.
Life is prepaid.
God does not bless those who do not sacrifice.
There was a person who made a lot of money from real estate investment. He was an ignorant person. He never gave any of the money to his neighbors. And all over his house, he collected expensive common items and all kinds of rare things and displayed them.
And invited guests. And I asked.
Then a guest said:
The owner asked with round eyes.
said the guest.
God does not bless those who do not sacrifice. Sacrifice is upfront. If you sacrifice first, you will pay for it later.
4. Self-care is pre-paid.
Life should also prepay for self-care. Jesus said:
(Luke 6:42)
Before looking at others, you must first look at yourself. You have to take care of yourself first. Self care must be prepaid.
This is a story from the Talmud.
Two men came to the rabli and asked for a trial. A person lived side by side with a wall in between. But one man planted a tree next to the wall. The tree has grown and its branches have gone over the fence of the house next door. So the vegetables planted in the ground could not grow because of the shade. So I asked him to cut down the branches that had crossed the wall. But the tree owner refused.
But others argued.
So it became a court battle. The rabbi listened quietly to each other's arguments and said,
The next day the two went to the rabbi together. said the rabbi.
A man heard this and asked.
said the rabbi.
That's right.
If you try to say that, you have to live that way.
Self-care is upfront.
There was no electricity, so there was a time when the lanterns were lit.
It was a time when people carried oil and sold cider bottles one at a time. The oil merchant had a pouch hanging from the barrel it was carrying. When they sold oil, they immediately took away a tithe of their sales. And on Sundays, I gave my pocket tithes to God without counting them. The townsfolk laughed at me for not being crazy. The friend who lives in the house in front was the most swearing. However, he said that it was a command from God, and that in order to serve God, we must do so, regardless of what anyone said.
Now, he runs three gas stations, and the neighbor who laughed at him works as a gas station employee.
That's right.
Self-care is upfront. So Jesus said.
(Luke 6:42)
One of the Korean golfers who entered the American golf world and won the championship is Gyeongju Choi. He is known as a golf practice bug.
He answered.
I asked again.
Gyeongju Choi said without hesitation.
I won because I was so thorough in self-management. Self-care is upfront.
He is an amazing scholar when it comes to medicinal herbs in Korea.
He spent 18 years in exile for political plotting. In the midst of this, he has authored over 500 books. I used adversity. In the fall of the 10th year of exile, Teacher Dasan wrote this letter to his children.
