Title: Life is more precious than the world

Text: Matthew 16:26
Last week, the biggest issue in our society was the suicide of Hyundai Group Chairman Mong-Hun Chung. In the 1980s, as Korea began to shake its value management, golden almightyism prevailed in the 1990s, and sexual ethics rapidly collapsed. As the state view and patriotism collapsed, the leftists, who were more fearful than the locals, raised their heads and joined forces with socialism or communism in the name of national reconciliation and reform. In addition, the tendency to give up one's own life as well as the lives of others is notable as it is a trend of contempt for life in recent years.
According to recent statistics, Korea has become the third most suicide country in the world, and it has increased by 74% in 10 years from 1991. It has doubled in the past year, so it was only a matter of time before we approached number one in the world.
In the face of such a social crisis, we, Christians, realize that life is more precious than the world and want to create a society where there is no suicide or murder, so I decided to share the sermon with the title "Life is more precious than the world".
Psychiatrists stipulate that 70-80% of suicides are caused by mental disorders such as depression, and other deaths are due to alcoholism, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and anxiety disorders. Death is medically a physical cessation of breathing and biological cessation of the functions of the organs and organs, but in the Christian view of the Bible, it means "a state in which the soul and body are separated." The state of separation here refers to the state of separation from whether the soul leaves the body when the time comes, or the soul leaves the body (suicide, murder, accident, disease). I pray that you and I will fulfill the life God has given you. Why are people dying these days, and why are they killing them? The cause was organized into two categories: the human level and the spiritual level.
First, from a human point of view, it is the parents' fault.
The truth is that the parents raised them wrong, taught them the wrong way, and paid the price for their sins. I can't say all of these things, but if I can only tell you the part that my parents raised me wrong, in a word, it's because I was raised weakly. Just like the plants in the greenhouse, everyone caught the prince and princess disease, and everyone is a prince and a princess, so they don't do hard work. If they do it wrong, let alone pick up a rod, what can those who have grown up like masters go out to do in the field of life? I'm looking for a good job with my eyes high, where are you? OK! OK! OK! I was raised weakly, and my values and outlook on life are messed up. There are more and more people in society who do not know how to live together and want to live only for themselves and for themselves.
According to the French sociologist Durkheim, suicide is ① selfish suicide that occurs when the bond between the individual and society is weak ② altruistic suicide that occurs when social obligations are too strong ③ anomie suicide that comes from sudden change in personal life and moral breakdown are separating.
Dear brothers and sisters, let's raise our children strong. The eagle becomes the king of the sky and the lion becomes the king of the jungle. It is said that the young cubs are dropped from a high sky to raise them strong, and they are rolled down from the hills to train them strong. Overprotection is not the only love for children. Passing on property is not the only love for children. You saw Chairman Chung Mong-heon.
Second, from a spiritual point of view, it is the work of the devil.
First, if we look at murder, both suicide and murder are at the root of the devil. The first murder in human history is recorded in Genesis 4:8 in the Old Testament. “Cain struck down his brother Abel and killed him” Cain appears as the first murderer of mankind. And in 1 John 3:12 of the New Testament, written after 4000 years have passed, the murder at that time is described as follows. “You shall not be like Cain, for he belonged to the evil one and killed his brother.”
Who is the Evil One? The devil. 1 John 2:13 “because he has overcome the evil one”, 1 John 5:18 “the evil one cannot touch him”, 1 John 5:19 “the world belongs to the evil one”, John 8:44 “the devil is from the beginning” A murderer”, Ephesians 6:11-12 “Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist the wiles of the devil, for our wrestling is against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this darkness, and against the evil spirits in heaven. ”
These murders are the wrath of God.
Jude 1:11 “Woe to you, these men, who have walked in the ways of Cain, and have gone astray for wages to Balaam, and have been destroyed by the rebellion of Korah.”
