Why only Jesus is the best
(Romans 8:31-39)
Today is Happy Invitation Day. If you know the grace of Jesus, you will be happy. Before knowing the grace of Jesus, suffering was not a blessing, but after realizing the grace, we realize that suffering can be a blessing. When you meet the Lord, you will be able to distinguish the real thing. Today, I hope that you will have a happy worship by seeing the person who came by your invitation discovers happiness and becomes a happy person with faith.
God is emphasizing only one thing. “Do you know Jesus?” “Do you believe in Jesus?” Everything is in it. If you believe in Jesus, you have done everything; if you do not believe in Jesus, you have nothing.
Life goes before God. You will definitely stand. This is not an eternal place. we are strangers God asks one word. “I sent my son to teach you the kingdom of heaven. Do you believe in it or do you love him?” No matter how good we are, it is not compared to believing in Jesus. No matter how much honor, position, authority, and wisdom you have, they cannot be compared with the authority to believe in Jesus.(…)
That is why the Bible says that to know Jesus is the noblest knowledge. If you do not know Jesus, the way to heaven is closed. It is not knowing the way to salvation in life, and turning away from life in the next world.(…)
Isaiah lived about 800 years before Jesus was born. He said this about how Jesus was crucified 800 years later. “He was pierced for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace; and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
I am healthy because he was sick in my place, and I have peace because he was healed in my place. I live because he died in my place, and I am rich because he became poor in my place. Through him I got everything. All these fruits are given to me through the Lord now and forever. All my sins were covered over because he did not open his mouth. Through his death, I have gained life beyond the death that I had to pay for my sins. It is only because of Jesus Christ that I am who I am.(…)
