Title: Life of Faith

▒▒▒ James 1:16-18
The Bible is a book that records God's work of salvation through mankind. Therefore, the theme of the Bible can be said to be the history of God's salvation. The book of Job talks about the meaning of suffering, the Psalms about worshiping God, and the book of Exodus about God's work of saving the Israelites and who God is.
In Hosea 6:3, the prophet Hosea said, “Come, let us strive to know the Lord.” Says. What is belief? It is knowing exactly who we believe in. That is the beginning of faith. Then the question arises, who is the God we believe in?
Second, God is a keeper of promises. In Genesis 12, God made a promise to Abraham, who was 75 years old and had no children. Abraham believed the promise and left Ur of the Chaldeans. People said he was a fool, but Abraham received his son Isaac as a gift from God when he was 100 years old. In Isaiah 12:1, God said, “A sprout will sprout from the stem of Jesse, and that bud will save all mankind.” Isaiah was a prophet who was active during the reign of King Hezekiah. However, these words were fulfilled 720 years later with the birth of Jesus Christ. In this way, God is the one who clearly keeps His word.
Fourth, God is righteous. God sent the sinless Jesus to this earth to pay for all our sins and die on the cross. Those who believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins are blessed with eternal life through that faith. However, those who do not realize that they have died because of my sins every time they see the cross have not yet received the grace of forgiveness of sins.
