Title: Life of Prayer / Philippians 1:3-11

content prayer life

Philippians 1:3-11

every time i think of you

thank my god

every time you ask

Always praying for all of you with joy

from the first day until now

Because of your fellowship in the gospel.

He who started a good work in you

that it will be fulfilled until the day of Christ Jesus

we are sure

I am for all of you

It is right to think like this

for you are in my heart

In excusing and confirming my bondage and the gospel

for all of you have become partakers of the grace with me.

I am the heart of Jesus Christ

how do you adore your group

God is my witness

I pray

your love

May it abound more and more with knowledge and all understanding

discern what is most good among you,

and in truth and blameless until the day of Christ,

through Jesus Christ

full of the fruit of righteousness

May it be to the glory and praise of God.

first. Paul praying

Reading Philippians 1:3-11

There is something strongly felt in our hearts.

it first

Paul said to the members of the Philippian church

that I really love you.

See verse 3.

every time i think of you

I thank my God.

Paul is

Just thinking about the Philippians

Say thank you to God.

This is the highest compliment to a person,

It is an expression of deep affection.

See verse 7.

I am for all of you

It is right to think like this

for you are in my heart.

Paul the Philippian church

Philippian church members

He says it's in his mind.

This is also an expression of extreme love.

See also verse 8.

I am the heart of Jesus Christ

how do you adore your group

God is my witness.

The fact that the apostle Paul loved the Philippian church

more powerful and clearer than this

I wouldn't be able to express it.

Apostle Paul never married

I've been alone all my life.

The apostle Paul did not have a wife,

had a lover.

The Philippian church is the Apostle Paul's lover.

The Philippian church also longed for Paul, but

Paul also fervently longed for the Philippian church.

So, in the Philippians, Paul sent to the Philippian church

This is a hot love letter.

Paul loves the Philippian church

for the Philippian church

I sincerely pray to God.

It's never a normal prayer.

and Paul

I am confident.

God

with the Philippi church

fulfill his good will

Philippi church

God will give you glory and praise

I have strong convictions.

See verse 6.

He who started a good work in you

that it will be fulfilled until the day of Christ Jesus

we are sure

It's an amazing confidence.

Maybe he could have been so firmly convinced?

Paul thoroughly believed in the Philippian church.

I have no doubts at all.

full trust.

Isn't that perfect love?

the more you look

The Philippi church is a blessed church.

I received the Apostle Paul's love so fervently.

How blessed is the church?

And the second thing I feel while reading the text is

Paul is a man of prayer.

Reading the text,

The words supplication and prayer

comes out several times.

And what Paul did for the Philippians

Prayer comes right out.

Paul always prayed for the Philippians.

Paul is a man of prayer.

second. Paul's Prayer Principles

Paul is

It teaches us many things.

Especially when we look at Paul's prayers,

Several prayer principles can be found.

See verse 4.

Every time I ask, I always pray for all of you with joy.

Here is the principle of Paul's prayer.

Verse 4 has four words.

every time I ask/

for your group/

with joy/

always begging.

in this one word

It contains the principles of prayer.

so

We in this verse

All four prayer principles can be learned.

first. every time you ask

In what attitude did the apostle Paul pray?

The Apostle Paul prayed,

I begged.

I prayed earnestly.

A supplication is a supplication.

It was a request to God.

Apostle Paul for the Philippians

I prayed earnestly to God.

second. for your group.

For whom did Paul pray?

Paul prayed for others.

I didn't pray for myself.

I prayed for the Philippians.

It is praying for others.

For dear Philippians,

He prayed so hard.

third. with joy.

How did the apostle Paul pray?

The apostle Paul prayed with joy.

Apostle Paul thinks of the Philippian church

Joy and gratitude come out of nowhere.

See verse 3.

every time i think of you

I thank my God.

Just thinking of the Philippi church,

To God who has established a relationship with the Philippian church

It is overflowing with gratitude.

Philippi church

He was always on Paul's side.

So Paul

How grateful would you be to the Philippi church?

Paul for this Philippian church

I prayed with joy.

fourth. always begging.

When did Paul pray?

Paul for the Philippians

I always prayed.

these four

This is the prayer principle Paul shows us.

We must pray earnestly.

We do it for others,

We should especially pray for the church members.

We should pray with joy.

We should always pray.

this

what Paul teaches us

This is the principle of prayer.

third. Paul's Prayer

What was Paul praying for?

Paul's prayer is found in verses 9-11.

I pray

May your love abound more and more with knowledge and all understanding.

discern what is most good among you,

and in truth and blameless until the day of Christ,

through Jesus Christ

full of the fruit of righteousness

May it be to the glory and praise of God.

I pray.

I pray like this

I am for the Philippian church

I pray so earnestly.

I believe that God will surely hear my prayers

I beg

But what did Paul pray for?

first. I prayed that love would abound.

See verse 9.

May your love abound more and more with knowledge and all understanding.

Paul is

The Philippians prayed for the abundance of love.

By adding knowledge and intelligence to love,

I prayed to God to give me an abundance.

The Philippians were very loving.

You don't know how much I loved Paul.

But the Philippians

in the love they have

I wanted to add knowledge and intelligence.

second. He wanted to discern the good.

See verse 10.

discern what is most good among you,

And be truthful and without fault

until the day of Christ.

Apostle Paul said that the Philippians

Add knowledge and intelligence to love,

have the right knowledge

A life of judging what is good and what is evil

I wanted to keep going until the Lord came.

third. He wanted to be full of the fruit of righteousness.

By living that way, the fruit of righteousness in their lives

wanted to be full.

See verse 11.

through Jesus Christ

full of the fruit of righteousness.

So, in the end, the Philippians

I want it to be the glory and praise of God.

What a beautiful blessing this is.

I followed the prayer of the Apostle Paul

Pray for this Myeongdeok Church.

Pray like that too.

Everyone.

In your love, knowledge and intelligence are added,

your love

I want to be more full.

So for the rest of your life

A life of discerning what is good

Hope you buy it.

live like that

in your life

May you be full of the fruit of righteousness.

So in the end all of you,

This Myeongdeok Church

We earnestly pray for the glory and praise of God.
