Title: Life of Reconciliation/Proverbs 18:15-24
Content Proverbs 18:15-24
life of reconciliation
Job 22:21...<Be at peace with God and be at peace.>
--The greatest characteristic of Christianity is love.
To achieve that love, you must live a life of reconciliation.
But in fact, once the crack is gone, it is not difficult to reconcile the relationship.
Verse 19: “It is more difficult to be reconciled with a brother to anger than to take a fortified city; such quarrels are like the bars of a stronghold.”
It shows how difficult it is to live a life of reconciliation, that is, a life of reconciliation.
--How can I live a life of reconciliation?
1. Seek understanding
Verse 15: “The heart of the understanding finds knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.”
2. Gifts help reconciliation
Verse 16: “A gift makes a man’s way open, and leads him before the noble.”
3. Be fair in everything
Text verses 17-18...< The plaintiff seems to be right in the case, but the victim comes and reveals it. Casting lots puts an end to stripe, and makes a settlement between the strong.”
4. Be careful with your lips
Texts 20-21...< A man is satisfied with the fruit of his mouth, and he is satisfied with the fruit of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.>
5. You must get true friends
Verse 24...<He who finds many friends suffers loss, but some friends are closer than brothers.>
--As the Olympic Games were held in Tokyo, Japan, a three-year-old house was demolished to expand the stadium. As the workers were trying to remove the roof, they found a lizard stuck in the wall with a nail sticking out of its tail.
When the workers called the owner of the house and asked when they got out of the pond, they replied that it was definitely out three years ago.
Hearing this, the people were amazed at the live snake that had not died for three years and stopped the construction for a while to find out the secret, and decided to watch the lizard.
Then another lizard was asking for food. That same lizard had continued to bring food for his pegged friend several times a day for three long years.
We humans are shameful. Aren't true friends like this one?
--Let's live a life of reconciliation.
