Title: Life of Service/Mark 10:45
Content Life of service / Mark 10:45
“For the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).
Word: When the feast day approached for a rich country house, all the livestock in the house were in an emergency. I was not alone in fear of being “sacrificed” on the feast day. The puppy ran to the owner first and cried and complained. “I stayed home every night without sleeping. Please do not kill me at this feast.” The owner node.
The hen and the rooster run quickly and say: “Master, I woke you up every morning. So I was able to get to work early in the morning.” When the rooster has finished speaking, the hen next to him speaks. “I have laid nutritious eggs for your health. So don't take us to this feast."
The cat also ran. “I chased away the rats that were eating grain. Please also remember the service I did.” The bull, who heard the news too late, complains to the owner. “I did all the farming. Please do not kill me at the feast.” Then the owner also noded.
At this time, there was a beast that was not able to come to the owner and was banging its head in its house and weeping. It was a pig. The pig had nothing to offer to the owner because he only ate the rice he was given and only slept.
What this parable emphasizes is service. A little leap is that a person who does not serve hard can become like a pig. The Lord came to this earth and lived a life of service. He lived a life of service. He even washed the feet of his disciples. We must live by the Lord as an example and serve diligently.
Serving through language. It is a service that does not cost money and does not require hard work. It is a service that praises, encourages, and gives joy to others. Please do a prayer service. It is a very important service to pray for the family, society, and the country and people. We must live a life of diligent service that suits our circumstances.
God values those who serve and uses them highly. Let us all imitate Jesus Christ and live a life of service and service. So let's praise God.
