Title: Life of Victory (Luke 15:1-7)
Contents everyone! On this fiery hot day, let's take a short spiritual journey to the Sea of Galilee.
Dear saints, The world is swelteringly hot, but remember that this is the Sea of Galilee where the Lord has come, and I hope it will be a time for us to hear the voice of the Lord calling for our hearts to be quiet and still.
According to the story of the famous poet Edgar Allen Poe, O God of Heaven! Yesterday, I sculpted an angel in my image, but there is a scene lamenting why I am sculpting the devil today.
Even our spiritual people sometimes fall to the top of a mountain today and to a valley tomorrow. Today's promised land, tomorrow again on the road of the wilderness, today an angel, tomorrow a devil, today a victory tomorrow...
This is the common anguish, anguish, self-effort, and self-screaming before God of those who are walking the path of faith to overcome this age.
“Oh, I am a wretched man. Who can rescue me from this body of death> Actually, what is called sin destroys human beings. When sin enters an individual, it destroys the individual; when sin enters the family, it destroys the family; when sin enters society, it destroys society; and when sin enters the country, it destroys the country.
In fact, what we call sin is a visible sin and an invisible sin as we know it.
Murder, drunkenness, debauchery, etc... There are external sins, but internal sins such as holding a grudge, jealousy, cursing, hatred, envy, etc. are not visible.
Let's look at the practical matter of faith, what happens to those who believe in Jesus if they commit such a sin. What happens to us Christians when we sin is a practical matter.
1. Are you forgotten by God?
2. Do you lose your salvation?
3. Will God cast them out?
4. Are you still a child of God? Then how can we solve these practical and difficult problems today and rise from this problem and live a victorious life?
First, those who are born of God do not commit sins habitually.
Those who are born again do not commit sins habitually. This is what the Bible teaches. Everyone who hears this today! If I only open my mouth, do I lie habitually or commit the same sins as animals? However, the people of God do not repeat the same sins.
If you are repeating the same evil as work, I hope that you will receive the Spirit of God's transformation at this time today. I hope to be born again in the Lord. The born-again person does not continue to indulge in sin. Also, those who are born again do not continue to live in sin.
Because the Spirit of God converts us. For those who are born again so that they can overcome sin, they seek what is holy. You can't win even with strength.
Knowledge cannot win.
But when we rely on the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, to help us, remember that we can overcome our divine desires and pursuits.
Second, however, you can fall into sin.
Being born again does not mean being perfect from head to toe. Being born again and becoming a child of God does not mean that we are perfect without sin. Although it is not a normal life as a Christian, the Spirit of God always awakens us so that we do not fall into sin.
Therefore, our hearts must be able to hear and hear the voice of the Spirit of God awakening us.
However, many people in this age believe that God is <Son! daughter! > Even if I listen to you like this, my conscience is burned with fire and I cannot hear the voice of love from heaven.
I want you to remember that the anguish of conscience is at least the voice of God's love. Therefore, we must clean our conscience from time to time as we clean a mirror.
However, we must remember that if we are weak and fall on the road of faith to meet God, we have our Advocate, Jesus Christ. Unbelievers and believers alike can fall into sin. But the unbeliever remains in sin and the believer is freed from sin.
Third, even if he sins for a while, God does not forfeit the inheritance or cast him out.
The Bible has promised. So, it is the gospel and it is the privilege of being children of God. We can sin when we live by faith.
“If their children forsake my laws and do not walk according to my ordinances, and break my statutes and do not keep my commandments, then I will rule their transgressions with a staff, and rebuke them for their iniquities with a whip. But I will not take all my kindness from him, nor will I forsake my faithfulness, nor will I break my covenant, nor will the words of my lips change” (Psalm 89:30-34).
God has appointed a certain person to be rescued and put in the line of salvation through the blood of Christ, his only begotten Son. But if he forsakes a costly salvation and goes on the way of the world, breaking the law, the Lord promises that I will lift up the whip to discipline, rebuke, and rebuke you, but I will not take my kindness from you, nor will I break my covenant. will do These are the four steps God has promised us.
“I will become his father, and he will be my son. If he sins, I will discipline him with a human rod and a human whip, but I will not take it from him” (2 Samuel 7:13-15).
Dear all! They are beaten with the stick and whip of discipline for a little while and weep over suffering and tribulation, but they are still children of God. God still loves.
Fourth, even if communion is broken, confession restores it.
Ultimately, when we sin, our fellowship with God is cut off. Only through conversation again can you get your father's help again. What can a pastor do? What I can do is to figure out how to restore the spiritually broken fellowship with God.
The Bible clearly teaches. If you confess, you will be restored.
<The blood of Christ his Son cleanses us from all sins> (1 John 1:1) Sin cuts off fellowship with God. But God is pleased with repentance.
Fifth, do not judge yourself, but accept God's judgment.
If the prodigal son had eaten only pig's rodent food and said, "I'm wrong, I'm done" and judged himself, he would have been a beast for the rest of his life. But he did not judge himself, but came to visit the Father, saying that he will now entrust me to the Father and be judged once more.
This is the attitude of faith. Lord! In spite of this, I will receive God's judgment again. Once again I surrender my life to God's judgment.
How can we sort out these problems and win with faith? This methodology is always a problem. In fact, God clearly taught what to do, but he did not teach exactly how to do it, so it is difficult for the spirit of people of faith to grow.
All people of our faith must be capable leaders. What do people of faith usually do after they repent? The Lord told us not to sin again and to live a free and victorious life. What is the method? Let's understand this methodology well according to the spiritual principle and become a spiritual victor.
First, please go to the place of grace every day. Sin melts before grace. It is by the grace of God that I am what I am. You can never go on the path of victory apart from the seat of grace.
Now is the acceptable time and the time of salvation.
Second, let's meet the person of grace. God's grace is contagious only when we meet a person of grace. Just as sin and evil are contagious, so the strong grace of God is contagious much more strongly than sin and evil. You have to meet someone crazy about holy things.
It is said that there are three diseases that modern people have. They are frustration, victimization, and indifference. Following people, following our environment, we are subject to change. If I meet someone crazy about holy things and follow them, the time will come, and when the time comes, I can go to a similar place. After following Elijah, Elisha also became a man of God.
Third, let's keep our mission deep.
Fourth, meditate on the Word of God day and night. When we meditate on the Word of God, which is sweeter than honeycomb, pricks us every hour, gives our standard of living, and gives us peace in life, we will go on the path of spiritual victory.
Fifth, we must live by the Spirit of God.
O God of heaven, today, like a prodigal son, I came before you with my hands raised.
Those of us who were caught on the way of the world today come out at this time today and change the direction of our life path with the word of God's grace.
I have heard the voice of the Lord. never sin again Where have all those who condemned you, persecuted you, and turned against you, gone? I will not condemn you any more; go in peace. Don't sin again and show me my glory on this earth.
