Title: Life on the Cross

Contents The life of the cross (Galatians 2:20)

If it weren't for the excruciating pain of the moth breaking through the hard cocoon

You will never have the honor of becoming a butterfly and flying in the sky.

Without the cross there is no glory of resurrection.

For the saints, the heavy cross can rise higher and fly farther.

It is a stepping stone and a wing of blessing.

However, in the field of our lives, we truly live the life of the cross.

How many people will you be?

What is the life of the cross given to us?

1. Living like Jesus.

It may be impossible from the beginning for us to live like Jesus.

But we must live like Jesus. Look at Luke 2

1) It was a life that kept order.

Jesus is in the relationship of father and son, parent and child, teacher and disciple.

You can see that they are keeping order.

In addition, in everyday life

2) It was a life of obedience. (Luke 2:51, John 2:1-11)

3) It was a life of growth. (Luke 2:40, 52)

4) It was a life with God. (John 17:5)

2. It is a life that is crucified like Jesus.

“While we were still feeble...while we were still sinners...

He demonstrated his love by dying for us...” (Romans 5:6-8).

Jesus died on the cross to accomplish the will of God.

In his short public life, Jesus lived a life that was crucified for us.

* First, a nail was nailed to the chest.

The wounds he received from the attitude of his most trusted senior disciple Peter (Matthew 16:23, Luke 22:61),

The wounds caused by the betrayal of Judas Iscariot (Matthew 26:24, 47),

Because of pain (Matthew 27:46), etc., a large nail must have been nailed to Jesus' chest.

* Nails nailed to hands and feet.

The crucifixion of Jesus is the request of the ignorant and foolish (Matthew 26:1, Mark 15:13-15)

Not because of that, but so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin.

It was the crucifixion of atonement (Romans 6:6-7).

Like Paul (Galatians 2:20), we too cannot control the lusts of the flesh and

Greed must be crucified.

Because they are holy ministers.

3. This is the life Jesus lives for.

We need to let the Lord come into us and lead us and rule us.

What is the life Jesus leads for us

1) It is to acknowledge the fact that my master is Jesus.

2) Before moving me, I first get permission from Jesus.

3) Giving back all glory to God.

4) It is not taking away the glory that God will receive.
