Title: Life Wisdom from Lizard Teacher
Contents
Proverbs 30:24-28
24) There are four small and wisest things on earth.
25) Ants that are powerless and prepare food in summer
26) Shaphans, who are of the weakest kind, and build their houses among the rocks,
27) There is no king, but all the locusts go out in swarms,
28) It is a lizard in the royal palace, even if it can be caught by hand.
So far we have looked at the creatures that God used to teach us the wisdom of life. Through the ants, I learned to know my weakness and prepare for the future based on my strength, through the savann I learned to know my weakness and build a strong shelter, and from the grasshopper, I learned to become one with myself to protect myself. Today, we will learn life wisdom from Mr. Lizard.
I. Wisdom is enjoying the riches of God through challenges.
Solomon spent 13 years building the palace for his residence. The beauty and grandeur of the palace were indescribable. Then, in his splendid palace, a completely unsuitable creature was found, a lizard. Perhaps Solomon could easily grab a lizard attached to the wall of the palace with his hand. Lizards are not as nimble as other animals, so they can easily be caught in human hands. However, it was surprising that the lizard, which can be caught so easily, lives in the royal palace, rather than in the mountains with thickets or thick trees to avoid people. The Royal Palace is a place where the boundaries are stricter than anywhere else, so it is not easy to enter. However, how they got in is that they live in the royal palace. There was wisdom that Solomon realized while beating his knee while looking at such a lizard. “Lizards are weak creatures that can be easily grasped by humans, but they are enjoying benefits and benefits that cannot be tasted anywhere else after entering the royal palace.”
The wisdom gained through lizards is not to be afraid of challenges. Lizards do not shun people just because they can be easily caught. Rather, the lizard breaks through the strict boundaries of the royal palace and eventually finds a residence in the royal palace where the king resides and enjoys privileges that can only be enjoyed in the royal palace. When a lizard is in danger, even if it breaks the link, it escapes and makes a shelter in the royal palace. And you enjoy the privileges that you can only have by being in the royal palace. The wisdom that God wanted to tell us is to “have a bold and challenging spirit”. My challenges and adventures are opportunities that make me a new high-class person. My challenges and adventures are God's visits that invite me to a new level of life. Don't be afraid of challenges. Wisdom is not being afraid of challenges.
We are offered opportunities to rise every day. What this means is that we live every day being attacked by problems and negative thoughts that try to overwhelm us. But it's an opportunity for us to change because of those that attack us. Wisdom is not being complacent with reality, it is not being afraid of challenges. The challenge moves me to a new land of hope and makes me live a worthwhile life. One of the wisdom you should learn from Mr. Lizard is not to be afraid of challenges. Because the challenge is sure to come.
