Title: Life with God, Salvation
Life with God, Salvation
Titus 3:4-7, 253.257.258, 3927
This text is one of the best summaries of the entire Bible's account of salvation. The text is a message that must be delivered in order to preach Christ to people and to make believers stand firm in the right doctrine.
1, Salvation comes from God (verses 4-5), God is the savior. -.Some people think that God is far away in the universe, with little or no interest in human affairs and life.
-.These are those who think of God as the supreme One who surrounds humans and watches their every move. They see God as a great judge who is always looking for wrongdoers.
God is not like a high judge. God is our Savior. He has saved us from the penalty of sin and evil, pain and death, and the penalty for sin in the afterlife. How amazing is that?
Our Savior, God, has saved us and has given us eternal life. We will never die, and God will never leave us, and we will live forever.
1) Salvation comes from the “mercy” of God. 2) Salvation comes from the “love” of God. 3) Salvation does not come from good works. 4) Salvation comes from the “mercy” of God.
2, Salvation comes through regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit (verse 5),
1) The word “regeneration” means to be born again, to be given new life, to be born again, to be revived, to be spiritually born again or to be converted. Salvation is a spiritual rebirth.
It is a person being born again by the Holy Spirit. “In Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace” (Ephesians 1:7).
2) “Renewal” means to make new, to make new again. resuscitate spiritually renew start all over again that means. “He saved us, not because of our works of righteousness, but according to his mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5).
“Having put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of him who created him” (Colossians 3:10).
3, Salvation comes through our Savior, Jesus Christ. (Verses 6-7) 1) Jesus Christ poured out the Holy Spirit abundantly on us. It is the Holy Spirit who renews us daily. But without Jesus Christ, we would not have been given the Holy Spirit.
It is Jesus Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit. It is his head that stimulates the human mind to make his body move and work. The same is true of Christ, the head of the church.
Christ causes the Holy Spirit to work through His Body, the church of believers. When a person believes in Jesus Christ, Christ gives the Holy Spirit to the first believer. But Christ gives him the Holy Spirit and pours it out abundantly and abundantly.
As a result, he is regenerated (born again), renewed and revived day by day (he is moved to follow Christ and serve more). “I will ask the Father. He will give you another Comforter to be with you forever. I am the spirit of truth.
Can the world not receive me? For they neither see nor know me. but you know me For I dwell with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you” (9 John 14:16-18).
If the Spirit of God dwells in you, then you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit; and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of Christ” (Romans 8:9). Don't you know that the Holy Spirit dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, and so are you” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? you are not yours It was bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
2) Jesus Christ is the one who justifies us. When a person truly believes in Jesus Christ as his Savior, God accepts his faith and counts it as righteousness. (1) The reason God wants humans to be so righteous is because He loves them so much.
(2) It is because of the great work that God has accomplished for mankind by His Son, Jesus Christ. -.Jesus Christ accomplished perfect righteousness for man. -.Jesus Christ came into the world to die for man.
-.Jesus Christ conquered human death by coming into the world, dying and rising from the dead. 3) Jesus Christ makes us heirs of eternal life. The Bible actually says that we are “fellow heirs” with Christ.
This is a wonderful truth and promise. We will inherit Christ and all that He has. We will have the glorious privilege of sharing everything with the Son of God.
Dear saints, You and I have the privilege of becoming children of God. If you are a child of God, you also have the privilege of receiving an heir. Therefore, if you are children of God, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, I bless you in the name of the Lord that you will work for the glory of God.
