Title: Life with Jesus
Bible: Acts 4:7-22
While Peter and John were going up to the temple during prayer time, they healed a man who was lame from birth. As a result, many people were shaken. The priests and Sadducees did not like to preach Jesus, so they arrested Peter and John, imprisoned them, and interrogated the accused in Jerusalem. The content is today's text. He said that he was not able to say anything because he was filled with the Holy Spirit of Peter, and as he released him, they discussed what to do. In this way, we can see that special grace is given to those who live with Jesus. What is that special grace?
First: logic and eloquence improve.
“And when they saw Peter and John speaking without amazement” (verse 13), those who believe in God are rich in knowledge and can speak well. The God who created human beings is also in control of our thinking and language abilities. What's your logic? This refers to the order and order of speech so that the other party understands and understands the principle of certain things. Peter said, “Jesus died on the cross by your hands. But God brought him back to life and resurrected him. In the name of the resurrected Jesus Christ, this lame is made perfect and stands before you.”
Second: Study (wisdom) overflows.
“I knew that he was originally a criminal without learning, and he wondered” (verse 13). The criminal means an ordinary person, an uneducated person, or an uneducated person. Although Peter was a fisherman in the Sea of Galilee and was uneducated, his words were not even answered by the chief priests and those who were educated from the Gamaliel family, who had the best learning of the time. The Bible records that “there was nothing to criticize” (verse 14). In John 7:15, when Jesus was teaching the people in Jerusalem, the Jews were astonished, saying, “How can this man understand writing, since he is not educated?” We overcome this world with the wisdom that God gives us and we live.
Third: You will witness the signs.
