Title: Light Will Shine Out of Darkness
Out of darkness, light will shine (2 Corinthians 4:1-6)
<1> Then, how should we fulfill this position?
We should not be discouraged because our office is given by grace. Also, we should not do it with shame because we have already been forgiven. And do not add human thoughts, experiences, or worldliness to the Word of God, but only obey the Word of God. Sadly, even though Paul testifies of the word, he emphatically expresses that those who do not accept this gospel are the ones who are perishing toward those who continue to take up their legal duties.
The conclusion of today's sermon is that light will shine out of darkness. In Genesis 1:3, the light was the light of creation that illuminates the outside. In today's text, the light that light will shine out of darkness means the light of the inner soul that is given to humans who live without hope in the dark. This light is the light of new creation, the light of new life, and the light of salvation. As soon as we have Jesus, the light, in our hearts, all the powers of darkness that suppressed me will disappear and all will be cast out, and the glorious light of God will fill our hearts.
Jesus, who came to this earth as a light, tells us that you are the light of the world. We are children of light. But we cannot be a bright light, a holy light ourselves. Only when we receive Jesus, who is the light, can we become the light through that light. With this light that came into my heart through Jesus Christ, I hope that you will overcome darkness and live as messengers of light who shine this light to the whole world.
concluding remarks
How do candles light up? Melts, burns, and shines with light. Just as Jesus laid down his life to become a light, we too must become a candle that melts and burns ourselves in order to become the light of the world.
You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the goodness of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).
I pray that you will become the saints of the preface who enter into this corrupt, corrupt and rotten world and become a ray of light to reveal the glory of God to all the earth.
