Title: Lighthouse (Ex 25:31-40)
In the sanctuary, make a lighthouse made of pure gold that illuminates the darkness.
God has commanded.
The seven lamps were made to light the fire by letting the wick touch the oil.
It is called a lighthouse rather than a candlestick, and this lighthouse also has a spiritual meaning.
We would like to share the grace by looking at this.
1, the shape of the lighthouse
This lighthouse was made by beating pure gold.
It is made without the use of wood and is made by a skilled craftsman by beating Dahlland gold.
It is elaborately decorated in a beautifully balanced form to create a base, a stem and a branch.
However, these utensils are not made by pouring molds like the utensils of the tabernacle or the golden calf idol.
I made it by hitting.
It was not made by idols or by the use of human wisdom.
In other words, in order for these benefits to glorify God and to be saved,
It means that you must go through the work of suffering and the process of refinement.
(Zechariah 13:9) I will throw a third of it into the fire, and will refine it as silver, and try it as gold.
They will call on my name, and I will hear, and I will say,
This is my people, and they will say, The LORD is my God (Malachi 3:3) And he sat down like a refiner and purifier of silver, and purifies the children of Levi.
I will refine them as gold and silver, and they will offer righteous sacrifices to the LORD.
This is the process of self-sufficient suffering and receiving glory as a reward.
It is compared to Christ and gives us many lessons in our lives today.
This is to become a Christian who lives a life of light in the world.
You have to endure tribulation and persecution and endure trials.
(Isaiah 48:10) I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
A beautiful character is formed when you strike yourself through trials and trials.
2. Secret of size
Other temple utensils have a fixed size.
But the laver and lighthouse, which are models of the Holy Spirit, are not given their size.
I don't know how big it is.
This fact tells us that these two organizations keep a great secret about the Church and the Holy Spirit.
In other words, it is as if the mysterious grace of Christ cannot be measured.
(Deuteronomy 9:29) They are your people whom you have brought out by your great power and outstretched arm
It was said that it is your inheritance.
(Job 26:14) These are the beginnings of the event, and what we have heard of him.
It is only a very small sound. Thunder of great power, who can measure?
He gives that power for us.
(Isaiah 40:29) He gives strength to the weary, and strength to the powerless.
3. Location of the lighthouse
The laver was in the middle of the sanctuary, the show bed was on the right, and the lighthouse was on the left.
It was dark even in the middle of the day because sunlight could not enter the sanctuary.
(Exodus 27:21) Let the lamp keep its light before the Lord always.
However, because of this golden lighthouse, it was possible to brightly illuminate the darkened sanctuary.
Therefore, the priest could offer incense to the censer and exchange the bread on the bread table.
In this way, all holy works are accomplished because of the light of God's presence.
We stumble and fall by mistake
It is when we go down the road relying on our own light.
(John 14:6) Jesus said to them, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
So let us not rely on our own dark wisdom
You are my lamp and the Sun of Righteousness that illuminates my darkness.
We must long for the light of Jehovah God.
Christ alone is the eternal light.
4, the branches of the lighthouse
The lighthouse has a vertical central trunk and three branches on the left and right.
They are lined up in balance.
The middle stem symbolizes Christ, and the left and right branches represent His people.
It symbolizes Jesus Christ.
In this way, Jesus is located at the center of the saints.
He is deeply involved in all matters of the saints.
All three of them are attached to the stem, just as they come out of the stem.
The saints are attached to Jesus, the stem through the Holy Spirit,
You can also participate in the Jesus-like nature.
In order not to fall from the stem, we who were branched for that
You have to work hard.
Branches can receive the oil of the Holy Spirit only through the stem.
