Title: Living by the Power of the Gospel

Living by the power of the gospel (Colossians 2:6-15)

A person who attended a certain meeting and received grace came out to send after the meeting and was leaving, and confessed as follows. “For 25 years, I have been a drunkard and have lived my life on my own terms, but this week I heard the gospel and was saved. This week has been my first clean week in the last 25 years. I will try to become a better person, and now I will live for the Lord.” This is the gospel of redemption and the response of those who have met the gospel of life.

Are you convinced that Jesus has raised you with Christ and has forgiven all our sins? Can you testify that you have gained new life? Do you acknowledge that new life is the power of the gospel? Solve the problems of my life with the gospel before talking about other people's problems, and develop a spiritual eye to see the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ before criticizing the world. I hope you can tell the vision of

The most important attitude that a Christian should show is not to judge, criticize, or slander the same as those in the world, but it is by no means difficult and is the easiest thing to do. The same words as the people of the world have no power and no understanding. What you need most in this situation is probably spiritual judgment. It is important to reflect on ourselves spiritually, the realization God gives us, and what we should live for. We must not listen to men, but to the words of God. We must find a way to solve problems through the gospel.

Through the Babylonian captivity, the Hellenistic period, and the Roman period, the people of Israel experienced hardships when they were deprived of their sovereignty, lost their religious freedom, and were economically invaded and ruled. Even among them, there are not many leaders who devote themselves to the future of their country and people. There are many people who are blinded by their personal wealth and glory and tormented the people. However, God raised up a few spiritual leaders and made clear the way for the Israelites to follow through them.

1) A message calling for repentance/

We declare that we must abandon idolatry and return to the Lord our God. He declares that if you turn to God and repent of your sins, He will restore you. 2

) A message to build trust/

The restoration of Israel is not in the hands of men. The country they hoped for is the kingdom of God. God is their Sovereign and Ruler. The Roman emperor is ruling Israel, its autonomy is limited and it is being invaded economically, but God will rule the people. There was a belief that the king established by God would take power. This was the gospel.

The most important thing in our situation is “the power of the gospel.” We need an attitude of faith that sees the times with the Gospel, reads problems with the Gospel, and offers answers through the Gospel. What Christians need is “the power of the gospel.” The gospel gives us hope, and it enables us to heal and restore. Candles are a way of expressing opinions and dissatisfaction. It breeds another conflict and breeds anger. Christians must have faith that they can be healed and restored by the power of the gospel. It is in the power of the gospel that the poor, the captives, the blind, and the oppressed are restored. We must see the world through the gospel, solve problems through the gospel, and present a vision through the gospel. It is not right to say the same thing as people in the world. You need words that others can listen to, not stories that everyone else knows. It is only the gospel of Jesus. Paul's emphasis is that, since you have received Jesus Christ as Lord, live in Him.

It means to live a normal life in Jesus. It means that our daily life must be in conformity with the will of Christ. Even if you claim the right story, you must conform to the will of Jesus Christ. We must not lose the image of those who have heard the Gospel. Excessive self-assertion, aggressive behavior, and overflowing criticism and slander are those who are outside of Jesus, and not those who have taken root in Jesus.

As a person of Christ Jesus learns the Word, in any circumstance ① strengthen the faith. There is no loss of faith. We value the value of faith and give up worldly and physical things to keep our faith. Modesty in words and actions. ② I am overflowing with gratitude. Overflowing means that the river overflows the embankment. It refers to the attitude of being grateful for everything, and having things to be grateful for over and over again. You don't have to say something that can't be done, but you have to be able to say hope and present possibilities. This is possible only with the Gospel. It is possible only when we receive new life through the gospel. It is not to criticize or slander the phenomena of things and the actions of people. We must build ourselves up with the gospel.

1) The Gospel of the Holy Spirit (2:9-10)/

Paul said that in Jesus Christ there is all the fullness of the Holy Spirit. There is the absolute power, holiness, love, goodness, and truthfulness of Jesus Christ. Paul said, “Be careful that the philosophy and vain deceit of the time will take hold of you.” It is not right to cling to other people's problems or bigger problems than yourself, while not being able to correct yourself and solve your own sin problems. Only Jesus Christ is the true source of the Holy Spirit, the water of life of the Gospel. It is a life that is saved, sanctified, and renewed through Jesus Christ.

2) The Gospel of Redemption (2:11)/

In the Age of Law, people tried to wash away their lusts and sins by being circumcised according to the custom. So, you must be circumcised on the 8th day after birth. Circumcision of the body is a custom that we had no choice but to follow as the adults insisted. Christians are not circumcised in the flesh. Those who have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and have received new life. It is not in the law that Christians are redeemed, but they cannot be saved by the works of the law. They are redeemed only by the blood of Jesus Christ.

It may be / The claim that only my thoughts are absolutely correct, even if I carry out that claim, I gain little. First of all, I lose someone, and I lose friends because of my stubborn attitude. Even twins have different thoughts and actions, but how can people with different parents, schools, experiences, and positions have the same thoughts? If all people thought the same, had the same values, and behaved the same, then no world could be as boring as that. There is a way to get along well without causing conflicts with other people, and that is to respond to the other person's opinions or thoughts by saying, 'It may be so'. "Oh! Right, right! You might think so." Instead of getting angry, blushing, or nauseous because you have a different opinion or opinion, first say "Yes, that's right" to the other person's opinion and respect that opinion. Then, if you share your opinion or opinion, the other person will also respect you. Ha, it's so easy, why do we growl at each other with a word so easily?

Japanese theologian Kosuke Koyama wrote a book called “God at 3 miles per hour”. What does “God at 3 miles per hour” mean in that book?

It is said that the speed at which a person normally walks is three miles, which means that God works slowly at the speed we walk, and He is never in a hurry. That's right. God works so slowly that we fall because we are so frustrated that we cannot bear it. The slow-moving millstone, the more crushing the hard grains. God's will for us is to be crushed into fine powder. Even today, God wants us to be whole by surgery on us who are imperfect, immature, and immature, so He breaks our waists and makes them whole. He uses suffering as an instrument to break and break us, and the purpose and reason for suffering will be revealed later. The only thing we must hold on to is that God is love. God is the one who gives us good things, and God is always right and good.

Had it not been for the suffering of a broken back, would we have sought God so desperately? If there were no beatings, how could we have stayed before God so fiercely? If there was no time to break and split, how could we have been so desperately thirsty for grace? Now, quietly looking at me who will be born again after surgery, I dream of me who has matured and matured after being beaten, expecting me to become sanctified after being pinched and broken. I feel exhausted from crying, and feel His touch and breath gently touching me. Even though my whole body was stained with beatings, I should be able to weep again at His love hidden in the stain.
