Living for the Glory of God 1 Corinthians 10:31-33
Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. The apostle Paul tells many Christians in the church in Corinth that the noblest purpose of life in the world is to glorify God.
So how do we glorify God?
First, to discern the good and righteous will of God.
It is to live according to his will.
You must not only give with your lips, but choose God's justice with your life and do what is right. Believing that God is the creator of creation and the source of blessings and distinguishing what comes from God is the first attitude toward seeking the glory of God.
Just as we should not tarnish our parents' names in our short life, I think it is the right thing to do as a child of God to do for the glory of God. I pray that you will act and serve so that God can be glorified by discerning the will of the Lord and obeying it.
Second, when we fall into sin or make a mistake, we repent and turn around.
God wants sinners to repent and return.
Luke 15:7 says that if one sinner repents and returns, he will rejoice more than ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.
God is most pleased with hearing God's word and obeying Him, repenting and returning to Him.
This is to glorify God.
Third, don't be a stumbling block to many people, but be a beneficiary.
is going to be
All people are self-centered. Being central to me is incomplete. If everything goes according to my will, it will be impossible to meet the needs of ten thousand and ten thousand people.
However, if you work according to God's will, you can do anything. God is pleased when we become Christians who benefit others by thinking about the Lord.
I hope that you will be glorified by God when you have an attitude of service and sharing that helps everyone to be saved before God and to live as a person of God's blessing.
Christians who strive to at least be close to God's justice, goodness, and love, and thus benefit many people, are those who live a life like grain of wheat, salt, light, and fragrance.
When we preach the gospel with the love of Christ to all believers, both Greeks and Jews, and Gentiles, God will be glorified when we practice love.
Dear saints, I pray in the name of the Lord that all of us become a grain of wheat and strive to show the glory of God.
